Mad Matt Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Talking on the phone to my girlfriend in Delaware. It's a good thing to have friends. :) Friends are overrated... You will be flogged. And God willing, come morning, you will be flogged some more.

Christine Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 At the library again to check mail. Still no computer access at home. *sighs*
Mad Matt Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 That sucks! Especially when you're used to having technology and then it suddenly isn't there. I haven't had a cell phone for two years and I don't miss them. But when I had one I couldn't imagine being without it. You will be flogged. And God willing, come morning, you will be flogged some more.
Christine Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 Yup, I miss checking mail in the nude. Can't do that here at the library-lol!
Cpt Sophia M Eisley Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I'm attempting to shake off some jitters from this evening. I was hit from behind on my way home, a mere block or two away from my destination. *sighs* Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@ Dead Men...Tell No Tales. Welcome, Foolish Mortals...
Cpt Sophia M Eisley Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I'm alright...still assessing my injuries, but at the moment, I'm just very sore. Hurt my legs a bit though when I whacked them against the bottom of the steering wheel. Anywho, I'm sure I'll be fine in time. My poor car will be fine when I get it in, checked out and fixed (the back has some decent damage). Thankfully, this wasn't a "Cap'n Sophia did it" moment (I pride myself in preventing those from happening), so I won't be in any financial burden. I was just worried about the little one in the other car (she's fine), and the guy and dog I had slowed down for to begin with (they're ok as well, but still). Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@ Dead Men...Tell No Tales. Welcome, Foolish Mortals...
Mad Matt Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 You'll hurt a lot more tomorrow. Take some motrin tonight and have plenty set aside for the next couple days. Hope you feel better, soon. You will be flogged. And God willing, come morning, you will be flogged some more.

Red-Handed Jill Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Definitely try to take it easy the next couple of days. I'm glad to hear it wasn't too serious (as in you're not in the hospital!)
Mad Matt Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 If you were close enough, I'd share my bottle o' Jim Beam with ya. That'd fix ye up right! You will be flogged. And God willing, come morning, you will be flogged some more.
Diego Santana de la Vega Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Yup, I miss checking mail in the nude. Can't do that here at the library-lol! Mail ye say, are ye sure ye not be meanin ta say male then? Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a knife in your back.
