Headless Horseman? :) Pegleg... ye look fantastic! Ye definitely are the spitting image of Long John Silver! After some major disappointment by several garment makers my kit is coming along. (Thanks to Amanda at JPSoule) Sleeved weskit gets picked up at the tailor tomorrow after some alterations and a sleeveless weskit is on its way along with a spare set of slops. Jas. Mission
Mike, I added some photos in for you. To do that (if you're using a PC), 1. Right-click with your mouse over the photo on the other website. 2. Select 'Copy Image Location' from the pop-up menu list. 3. Come over to the Pub and put your cursor in the reply box of the topic. 4. Select the photo icon (which looks like a Polaroid snapshot with blue, green and orange blobs in it) 5. In the Image Properties pop-up window, right-click in the URL box. 6. Select 'Paste' from the pop-up menu list. 7. Click the OK button and Viola! (Hopefully.) Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

peglegstrick
William...a friend of mine who is a fantastic woodworker & cabinetmaker did the woodwork..another friend's wife who repairs saddles did the leather..I had our plasma torch guy at work cut me a piece of 3/8" round plate to attach an old prostic socket I had leftover from my first leg that I used to attach it all with.. Can walk allmost as well with it as my regular leg...just cannot bend the knee with the peg...Oh yeah it's made out of ash wood..like baseball bats Edited April 6, 2012 by peglegstrick
