Has anyone fished off the shore or piers? Any comments or suggestions? Thanks again and I'll be a- buying drinks all around in th' pub! hurricane Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 The only St. George I know of isn't an Island, St. George shows up on Mapquest and it's about 8 miles or so NNE of Clearwater.... not an Island though. Only St. George Island is in Maryland... Silverhearted Maggie St. George Island is a state park......most of us in my part of Florida think of Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island........guess there must be 150 miles between them. KP
