Myself and the rest of The Outlanders will be there as always....all the way out in B-09....22 years and counting now! Wouldn't miss it for anything.

Well, Shaelyn and myself won't be attending the one for the Philly area afterall. She's not feelin' that good at all and extremely sleep deprived. Ah well....will just have to wait til tomorrow (oh the horror! ) Everyone else let those of us stuck behind know how it was!

Aye, Kate. I just received mine in me e-mail box yesterday. It's at the AMC Loew's in Cherry Hill. Check-in starts at 3pm and the event starts at 4pm. So myself and Shaelyn will be in attendance. She also entered, but hasn't recieved anything yet either. The ticket is good for two...so either way we're set! I too am curious...who else from the Philly area is attending?

I completely agree with ya there Christine! But to be an entry ya only need to be advertised and exploited for at least a 7 day run in a Lost Angeles theater from 12:01am Jan thru 11:59pm December of the judging year. There's a few other requirements, but that's pretty much the major one to be considered. So we'll continue to see the films nominated that only a select few have seen. As for the crew at DMC winning...I couldn't be happier. There's so many movies when you can see what's CGI and what isn't. It just doesn't look right for some reason. DMC was amazing in that you couldn't tell where the line of CGI and reality was. Kudos to them and can't wait to see what they come up with AWE!

Ah yes...late November in in Central PA...lovely temps in the 30's and who knows what kind of weather to expect. And it's right during PiP?! Sheesh....that's rough.

For the love god NO! It's bad enough they've already "kidified" him in books for children and the like. Disney must learn to stop screwing with good things. Make the movies...leave it at that. Don't need a TV spin off or anything like that. Nothing good can come of it...not in this day and age. Maybe 10 years ago, but not now.

Myself, Shaelyn, Soriena, Nicolia and Kat will be there for sure! Been looking forward to this since last years! Nicodemys, Godiva and Nymph may also be showing as well from my ship as well as The JuryRig. . Even with the blizzard and lights getting turned off...still a blast. Feb 10th, 2007 at the Raritan Expo Center in Edison, NJ! There are several after parties planned and the main hotel, Courtyard Marriot, is already booked solid. Check the LJ community for other alternatives that Jeff is working on!

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they did air something. Although could just be a teaser.

From what I've seen it's just the 2 hour special they're doing for Pirate Myths this Weds. Maybe they'll revisit some of them or come up with new ones later on in the year?

Given that I get the time off Shaelyn and I shall be in attendance along with some of our crew I hope!

Ahoy there! While not back in PA yet most of my crew is from the PA/NJ/MD/NY/OH area and there's quite a bit of us in Northern Jersey as well. We'll be at PARF and a few other events that we're throwning all over Jersey over the winter. If'n yer interested drop me a line or hop on over t' our crews website and get yerself some action mate!

Me an' my crew shall be at PARF for the full weekend this year. Thought about doing both, but figured way too much drivin' fer one day at each comin' from Jersey...so at PARF we shall be!

Oh what a glorious night that was indeed! Glad someone has pictures of that whole thing...just need to find more of them now. I know they're out there!

well I finally went and updated me flag....and here it be!

Just a reminder...Shaelyn and I will be setting up shop outside the theater around 7:30-8pm tonight. There's lots of little stores and a few places to eat there so just be on the lookout for the pirate tail-gate party.

We'll definitely be there in all our finery Kate! Living only 40minutes away makes this one too tempting to pass up! I'll try to get as much of the crew mustered as I can for this. Sounds like a great event you guys have going on. It'll probably be the 3rd time in as many days as we'll have seen the movie, but hey...can't have too much of a good thing, right?
