Tempest Fitzgerald Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 All right then... "Nietzsche said that there are two types of people in the world. Those that are bound for greatness, and the rest are the bungled and botched..." ...Or lay these bones in an unworthy urn, Tombless, with no rememberance over them: Either our history shall with full mouth Speak freely of our acts, or else our grave, Like a Turkish mute, shall have a toungueless mouth, Not worshipped with a waxen epitaph... Rogue Mermaid Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Ok, I rented a WEIRD movie monday night. I think this is a hard one so I'll use an obvious qoute from the movie in case anyone saw it. "Lets Go Sex'n!!!"
Diego Santana de la Vega Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Attack of the Horny Tomatoes???? Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a knife in your back.
Rogue Mermaid Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Here's a hint: The movie was shot on Harford Road in Baltimore
tishsparrow Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 does anyone ever really know where the movies were shot? unless theres a famous landmark, i dont think anyone can ever tell.
Mission Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 Ok, I rented a WEIRD movie monday night. I think this is a hard one so I'll use an obvious qoute from the movie in case anyone saw it."Lets Go Sex'n!!!" A Dirty Shame (An awful movie IMHO. But then John Waters is an awful director, so I guess it fits in some karmic way.) New quote: "I'll bet you a hundred there's a tool kit in there." "Man, I hate to rain on your crazy parade, but I don't think we can fix this." Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
Rogue Mermaid Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 A Dirty Shame (An awful movie IMHO. But then John Waters is an awful director, so I guess it fits in some karmic way.) Huzzah Misson. Somehow I feel better knowing that someone else lost an hour and a half of their life on that stinker.
Mission Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 A Dirty Shame (An awful movie IMHO. But then John Waters is an awful director, so I guess it fits in some karmic way.) Huzzah Misson. Somehow I feel better knowing that someone else lost an hour and a half of their life on that stinker. Sometimes Tracey Ullman also makes good movies. I used to know a guy we all called Ray-Ray who was...remniscent of that character as seen in the previews. Ok, my quote shouldn't be that hard. Here's another quote from the same movie (which won't help you at all ): "What took you so long?" "I stopped for coffee." "Did you get a receipt?" "Yeah, I got a receipt!" "Did you get me a cup?" "Yeah, I got you a cup!" "Guys!" A movie with dialogue for baristas everywhere. Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
CaptainCiaran Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Sometimes Tracey Ullman also makes good movies. When Fox TV first premiered, Tracey had a show on it. I thought it was so funny and creative. She is quite talented in my opinion. I wonder if one of the most important steps on our journey is the one in which we throw away the map. -- Loreena McKennitt My fathers knew of wind and tide, and my blood is maritime. -- Stan Rogers I don't pretend to be captain weird. I just do what I do. -- Johnny Depp
Diego Santana de la Vega Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 i thought she was the best thing on some Lawyer T V Show that feature an idiot partner and the skinniest woman actor I ever saw! Flochart or something was her name but Tracey was a scream as her shrink! Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a knife in your back.
Rogue Mermaid Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Oh I don't blame Tracy Ulman for the movie stinking. She's great. I love Selma Blair too. If you saw the movie you don't need to me to explain how Dirty Shame could make you think less of her acting.
tishsparrow Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 hey mission, i think i remember sandra bullock saying it, right? probably not, but i DEFINITELY have seen this movie! stupid short term memory loss...
Mission Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 No, not Sandra Bullock... "What do you do if you're about to be exposed as the biggest polluter in modern history?" "I don't know...run for president?" Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
