Cap'n Crusty
....not enough swabbies..... I shoulda registered with a name like "Cabin Boy Crusty" or some-such-like. At least then, I'd know me place! ....dances on tables when drunk......
Captain Goodwench
Well ya know a man's place is... In me bunk!!! Many call themselves 'Captain', but they have no ship!! Capt. Iron Faith Cutler
By the powers, you're right! I always figured there were more captains than hands on the Internet. That's the lovely thing about the digital sea, we can all indulge our egos and imaginations. The only swabbies I have in real life are three feline bilge rats that don't give a rat's ass about following my orders. Now I'll have a tankard of that fine, aged, rare digital rum! Captain_MacNamara
I 'appen to have a fine crew of 8 at my command... course, we are still working on our ship... (more of a little boat, but it'll look the part when we're done ) Then we'll start takin' over whatever lakes strike our fancy. And 'er's a round to ye captains who are still searchin' for a crew! May the wind be ever at yer back, and may ye 'ave luck in yer travels. Captain of the Iron Lotus It is the angle that holds the rope, not the size of the hole. Duncan McGuyver
Well for the Juryrig there is more crew than boat. We currently have 14 souls in addition to her Captain. All but 4 of the crew is based in the Wasington DC area. Now we just need to "Acquire" a bigger boat ! :) Captain Duncan McGuyver Crew Of The Vigilant Baltimore Maryland Based 17th & 18th Century Naval Living History Crew Of The Vigilant The Juryrig MDRF Based Social & Renfaire Crew The Juryrig Port Tortuga A Piracy based Pennsic household B09 Block, The Highlands (Up Hill & Left) Port Tortuga

There be a boat at our port but it be fer fresh water fishin' and belongs t'the first mate. However, we all know who gives the orders in this household! Captain, we always knew you were a whoopsie. Captain_MacNamara
Between the 8 members of my crew, we own 3 boats... unfortunately, only one of them be seaworthy, and even she is in drydock at the moment, being re-fitted. She floats, but at the moment is more of a longboat than a sloop... The other two are motorboats, and having no motor.... well, one doesn't get very far Still I'd rather crew aboard the Royaliste then Captain my own boat. If I had a way to get to California, I'd happily crew aboard the Royaliste meself... that is one beauty of a boat... er, ship. MinRat
I'm no captain on land or at sea. I do work aloft on a 150 ft brig. I would rather be a common hand on a fine ship than a captain of a leaky tub. I love being on leave.
