  1. Ah but what comprises the women of our dreams? I to was once a man of visual imparment, if you weren't beautiful in body and face then I was moving on. That was my youth and sadly I now realized I missed some wonderful women. My dream woman is real now, I've found a lady who loves unconditionally, shares in all my happiness and sorrow and stands at my side as an equal mate in life. In my eyes my lady has made my wandering years a faded memory of the past, each day is a new adventure in our lives and each day is filled with more love then the day before. Looks fade quickly and we're left with whats in the heart. LOL Lucky for me my lady is all I could ever hope for and more. Saber
  2. Ahoy Pat!!! Its so easy to misunderstand someone when your just dealing with text messages, been there and done that. Jack and Jill... What a great job you did putting this monster event together, from what I saw, eveyone had a great time and I'm sure all eyes are looking for the one next year. Saber
  3. I love that stuff, what a gross nasty person! Perfect for lower level pirates *S* Now, is this really the way we talk all the time or was this a rash moment of wishful thinking? Now lets go brush our teeth and get rid of the potty mouth This is about fun and sharing like interests, if you don't share those feelings then I would kindly suggest a new harbor for you. Peace Saber
  4. 54 here and one of the seniors on tour! LOLOL Age means nothing, its whats in your heart and mind that says who you are.... I'm 54 going on 19 going on 35 going on 25 going on 60! I can't say that any one age group fits me as I love to be with young and old alike. I guess you can say that I've not fully grown up yet? LOLOLOL Saber
  5. Maria me dearie- Would you be so kind as to email me so I can pass it along to Make a Wish? I've got contact info for everyone who was part of the wish, but I don't have your email and they want to say thank-you to everyone. Photos will be coming soon! I gave me digital camera card to Ace and he'll be pulling stills for the DVD and for posting. I got photos of the family on the ship, lots of Blake climbing the yard and lots of him at the helm of Trevi. So photos will be coming soon!!
  6. What Ho! What a great day, couldn't have asked for better weather out on the bay! Here's a huge thanks to everyone involved with Blake's day, I don't know that it could have gone any better! Quill, you put in long hard hours to make this happen and I do know the effort you put into this event, great job my little Pirate Sweetie. Thanks to all the ships and crews, land based pirates and everyone who had a hand in this day I'll never forget! Stitch, did we go through some black powder or what? LOL my poor flintlock won't be the same after this one! To all those who waited ashore while we attended business, thanks so much for your support. Lift your tankards Mates, you all deserve an extra ration of grog!!!! Saber
  7. Whoa what a weekend. Captain had the Royaliste loaded for bear, (Northern Bear) Cannons primed, charges laid ready to load, flintlocks and long rifle trembling with excitement in the hands of there masters. Wind plentiful blowing in passed the Golden Gates, sun shining brightly on the scene unfolding before the entire bays eyes and I do mean there was eyes at all corner of the bay, like dancing through a school of minnows on the water with Union cannon fire raining down on the swift and deadly Royaliste. I don't know that you could dream a day like this, great friends, good weather and the pride of the San Francisco Bay maintaining her dominance upon the waters. From Captain and First Mate to bosom and seaman, the crew did an outstanding job, one everyone should be well proud of. Three cheers for the soldier at the Fort, the great crew and ship Hawaiian Chieftain and most of all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BATTLE CREW OF THE ROYALISTE AND HER CAPTAIN!!!!! A very tired........... Saber
  8. I be a displaced Captain... My boat is in Oregon and now I'm in California! Still I'd rather crew aboard the Royaliste then Captain my own boat. Seems a bit strange? LOLOL Saber
  9. GREAT idea bringing blanks!!! Saves the biggest expense... mailing &padded envelopes. I'll email that out today. LOL darn it... posted on Saber's login again!!
  10. POSTED BY QUILL.... ACCIDENTLY LOGGED IN AS SABER: OK scratch that email I said I was sendin'... Here's what I be up against mates: We're gonna have to figure out the cost of CD's and postage. I'm getting requests for this left and right and it's more than I can manage at tax time. (Ye' know how it be with them IRS pirates!!) :-( I think what I'd like to do is to let everyone see it at Blackbeard's Wake. Those that would like to cover the costs of a CD and postage, plus a buck for Ryan for his trouble to burn it for them, can leave their addresses with me. There have been several requests from our piratical graphics gurus for CD's of the raw footage. Perhaps we should hold off on sending CD's until we give them time to produce another cut for the CD? Captain, I also want you to consider how lengthy a piece of unprotected footage you want to have, because although we can mark it with a copyright and write-protect it, that is easy to undo. So short and sweet might be better in that respect, but on the other hand, I hate to have to collect a couple of bucks to cover the costs of a video that is only 1-1/2 minutes long. Please advise.
  11. Aye Mates, looks to be something to behold. Saber
  12. Ahoy.. Just finished Artemis, looks like I'm on my way to book store for the next novel "Seaflower" Looks like Seaflower picks up where Artemis left off, can't wait to get into the next story. Saber
  13. Don't know if this has been discussed before but I've been given a copy of a great 1700's sea novel. The title is "Artemis" and it revolves around a central character by the name of Kydd. If you like looking up working parts of a ship and reading in what seems like probable historical sea talk then this books for you. Good thing is its part of a series so there's more good reading once your finished with Artemis. The author is Julian Stockwin.. See what you think. Saber PS.. Captain Royaliste, I'll be bringing the novel this weekend, I think you'll enjoy it Sir.
  14. Arrrrrrrr me Darlin!!! I"m all for skipping the cabin boy and taking care of business with me one and only.
  15. Aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. There be one thing that sets this ole nose a flame and that be a strong linstock and a smokin slow match... Warms the heart when I smells that cause I be knowin someone has laid themselves open to a nice round of shot from the Royaliste. Nuttin sweeter then the drifting smoke of cannon fire laced with slow match. Couse that be the way every day should have a beginnin. Saber
