Iron Bess Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Indeed, the lads say they got theirs off'n the *Talk like a Pirate day* site. Go there and see what they have (which is several I guess) They give you instructions for downloading. Good luck mates! Pirate Ringtones I don't know if you were ever blessed with 'Captain Pugwash' in the US, but I'm excited to have found the ringtone here! Maraudin Sparky Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Well at least there's a link to the place now... I knew that the English site was linked, but not that specific page of it. endkaos Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 I be embarrassed to say this, with me mate being in technology and all, but how do you download it to ye phone. ~Tori Like any unmanned ship, a novice sailor will eventually steer into the wind and then in circles.
imadrunkenpirate Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Well, where I went te get mine, http://www.mywirelesswindow.com (unfortunatly, its only if ye be a Cingular Wireless user..) Anyhow, ye just select yer phone brand, and the model number, type in the name of a song in thar search box, and play the tune. If ye like it, ye can order it by pressing "buy." Ye'll type in yer cell phone number (with area code), and then press submit. Ye have te have an account on that site.. which is easy te make. Just follow instructions. The bill (99cents per song) will be taken from yer phone bill (i think) Hope that helps! Cabinlass Maggie It'll be the rope's end for that one, me bucko.
Kuthroat Kim Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 Aye. There be websites that you just put in yer phone # and they send you the ring tone. There also be ways to download it directly to yer phone, but I don't know how to do that either. Take what you can, give nothing back.
Desert Pirate Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 Sprint users can download "a pirates life" "There is no safe place in the land of Spain. We'll take the ships and we own the Main."
Captain Charlotte Savvy Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 I actually HAVE "Yo Ho" in midi format, but no way of getting it to my AT&T phone ... anybody know of what website I can go to for an AT&T cell? (on a Nokia phone, if that's important ...) "Pirates ... were of that old breed of rover whose port lay always a little farther on, a little beyond the skyline ... if they lived riotously let it be urged in their favor that at least they lived." ~ John Masefield Those who live by the sword, get shot instead.
Cap'n Fishking Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 eringers has Klaus Badelt He's a Pirate From the movie pirates of the caribbean. for Verizon customers you can send a pix message to your phone with the midi file added then save it to the phones media file. www.eringers.com (search misc) To send a text/pix message to a verizon phone www.vzwpix.com
Desert Pyrate Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 I got a data cable for my phone. $14.99 from CompUSA on sale. YoHo is my main ring, Drunken Sailor for "restricted numbers" and Hornpipe for the no caller ID folks. I'm looking into getting a bosun's call for a new text message. The cable also lets me use my phone as a modem should my computer ever need it.
