Lady Sakura
Well, rippa means admirable, splendid, and respectable. Tsugoi is a way of saying wonderful or amazing. There is no real translation. But, it is used to show that the speaker is amazed. Of course, this differenciates with the province and prefecture. Yea, Japanese be a hard and confusing language... Rumba Rue
Very nice indeed! I noticed that it's almost identical to the Irish dresses I have made. So it wouldn't be hard for me to make a few simple adaptions to create the same thing. Thanks for sharing! BILLY BONES
Well, darlin', the dress be fine, but this ol' pyrate likes ta see such finery modelled by the one who wears it. I know yur figure's a might more shapely than that dummy. Just a thought.(I do have them on occasion) Capt. William Bones Then he rapped on the door with a bit of stick like a handspike that he carried, and when my father appeared, called roughly for a glass of rum. This, when it was brought to him, he drank slowly, like a connoisseur, lingering on the taste, and still looking about him at the cliffs and up at our signboard. "This is a handy cove," says he, at length; " and a pleasant sittyated grog-shop. Much company, mate?" My father told him no, very little company, the more was the pity. "Well, then," said he, "this is the berth for me." Proprietor of Flags of Fortune.
Christine
Aye, I agree with Billy Bones. Ye should take pix with the dress on and show it off. :) Beautiful, simply beautiful indeed.
