Lily Alexander
anyone know if pirates choice will be attending- might make the decision easier. I don't know if they are attending but I have a bottle of their molasses reef rum that will be. I'll be happy to share it with you. Dutchman
well, i'm just excited to be able to not have anything planned. I believe i shall spend most of my time under a nice shade tree with a bottle enjoying company. might even go for a swim to rinse off my togs- its been a year or so since i've done any laundry. hmmm- thats it, i'll do my mending. hey misson, i have a beautiful new coat i'm beating to snot, should match the rest of the worn sailor pretty well. Misson
Despite my excitement and interest, I must bail on this event. Apologies to one and all. (Dutch, we must meet and make up that interim saw somewheres else.) Duty calls. (On the plus side, Dupont has become a customer based on a product I designed and put on my squirrelly little company website (a page that I also designed - when you're a part owner you have to do a little bit off everything.). Anyhow...see those of you who will be at PiP at PiP. Capt. Sterling
Congratulations on Dupont Mission, but you will be missed. Oi did ye check out my question in yer surgeon's thread over in Twill? Matty Bottles
Indeed, I will have to miss this event as well, but my crewe knows how found of them I am, and I hope to make many other events. "The time was when ships passing one another at sea backed their topsails and had a 'gam,' and on parting fired guns; but those good old days have gone. People have hardly time nowadays to speak even on the broad ocean, where news is news, and as for a salute of guns, they cannot afford the powder. There are no poetry-enshrined freighters on the sea now; it is a prosy life when we have no time to bid one another good morning." - Capt. Capt. Sterling
Aye and we love you too ye FB... you are a major asset to this crewe "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... Dutchman
well darned, less people to loaf on the beach with. certainly will miss you both, but we can't make it to every event. Misson, congrats on the Dupont deal!!! the jacket- simple olive canvas made to R.H. paterns. It took me two days to make!!! I love the new sewing machine. The jacket is going to be a beater so I cheated a bit making it, but beginning to dutchify it tomorrow. This was my first attemp at anything with sleeves- not bad. When I finish this one, I'm going to start on a new one by hand. Already have my buttons and lining.
Capt. Sterling
Sounds grand... Ahoy Angels, just received our orders for Beaufort, quick glance at the map and looks as if we be encamped by the jail...and them "sickly" folk from Blackbeard's crewe be encamped by the apothecary...**Wicked grin** "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... michaelsbagley
Hey Sterling, Since me and the missus are signed on with the Archangels for this venture... I just wanted to ask if we will be portraying "pirates", "privateers", or "local militia" in Beaufort? I'm pretty good with any of the three, but knowing which will help me pack and also help best determine which projects I am working on should be prioritized... Post here or PM me... Thanks!
