Silkie McDonough
Welcome back lad. You have been missed ...didn't you use to "sail on the Watch Dog"? Heh, Pete ...the reality is that I am a land locked lass who works in corporate America but wish I was not. Reality is that I could be something else if I got off my arse and focused. Fantasy is that it is the early 1700's and corporate America doesn't exist and I was forced to get of my arse and focus but still have the rights of a woman in todays society. I'd be laughing but after typing it it doesn't seem so funny any more.
Captain Jim
I thought I smelled something familiar and foul. Good ta’ see you about again. An account of yer absence is in order lad. Accomplished something useful, I hope. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
Ransom
Tis grand to have you back, Petee. I always thought of you as the Merry Prankster of the Pub, and I see that's still true! ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott.
