  1. Welcome amongst us lass.

Florida be a fine state. As fer meself, I has family down in Jenson Beach.

Tis well to make yer aqaintance. Did check out yer site too, and I admire yer reading list lass and also yer movies. POTC and The Godfather Trilogies RULE!! Hope all is well with yer studies.

  2. Enjoyin' me day off with the wee lad. And still happy to be a workin' woman. I love me job.

Aye lass, days with our wee ones are but treasures to behold.

I be mighty glad I can have me job, and time with them too.

    What be yer job m'lass?

  3. Back in the 70s I rode POTC both in Florida and California.

I also wrote a report about Blackbeard when our 3rd grade class did reports on personalities of early American Folktales.

I was fascinated by the stories of Edward Teach in what he did on the waters of early America, and also on land. The legendary stories about him inspired me greatly. As I got older I put Pirates "aside".

Then, 5 years ago, I had won a trip for a weekend in Seattle.

I went into the Pirates Plunder gift shop, not having been in such a shop since Disney years ago. All of a sudden I felt an urge starting inside me.

Then that night we went to see the first POTC. As fate would have it, after spending 2 hrs or so watching Jack and Will go up against Barbossa, we walked out of the theatre and right into the Seafair Pirate Parade. It was like walking out of the movie, and then right INTO it.

(having not been involved in Pirates at that time, I had no idea who the Seattle Seafair Pirates were, or what the parade was going to be, that was being advertised around town that day, so it was quite a shock to discover that it was a Pirate parade). After all that, I got back into Pyracy again, and have never turned back. I went back to Pirates Plunder the next day, bought my first loot, and here I am.

  4. All things Latin; culture, cooking, the Spanish language, my heritage, Salsa and Merengue dancing, clothing, books, art, movies you name it.

I love all aspects of the Latin world, except some of the dictator leaders of Latin countries LOL!!

My wife and kids and all that we share together.

  5. Aye lass ye be a very fine maker of all yer garb!

    :lol::lol::lol:

I did promise, me thinks on another post, that I would show ye

the boots I do have. I THOUGHT I got a fine photo of them, and was going to post, but for some reason the shot didn't come out.

I took another shot of them, and now just have to use up the film.

I will try to get them posted. So sorry.

Matt! A very fine ensemble ye hath produced indeed!!

  6. The kids in the audience whooped when it came on, and it looked pretty funny.

Yeah and the trailer really reels ye in.

It gets ye all hyped up that theres gonna be another

Pirate epic hittin the screens (eventhough ye sit thar knowin in yer mind that POTC isn't it and thar isn't any talk o'another one comin out right now) than *BAM* and ye be like

    OMG ITS VEGGIE TALES!!!

  7. The last issue that has come out was the Jan/Feb 2007 issue (sent out in June 2007). I finally decided that rather than trying to catch up, we are going to skip the March through Sept. 07 issues. The next issue (about to come out) will be the Nov/Dec 2007 issue. We will move everyone's expiration date up by 4 issues, so everyone will get all the issues they have paid for.

Thankee Ms. Jamaica! Will be lookin forward to it soon

  8. Many of ye who hath scaled the East Coast of the US are familiar with Murell's Inlet, known for its MANY fine seafood dining experiences, great fishing and tourism. When I lived in SC (not in Murell's but I stopped there alot), and since have visited back, any tourist scuttle about the town suggested that it was named after a Pirate named Murell who supposedly buried treasure around there centuries ago.

Does anyone know if Murell was real, or is it just a made up legend?

Input here is greatly appreciated as the research I have tried hath left me with an empty trawler.

  9. Aye Royaliste, ye made it a stupendous experience yesterday!!!

Many a thankye fer comin down. Twas great to see such a beautiful vessel. My chillins enjoyed it too. Wish I could have come down to the yard before 2, to introduce meself personally, but by the time we got out from havin some grub, and me mateys with us findin some booty in town, we had to get over fer the invasion. Got o great view o'ye sailin in to take the Bay!! Will post some photos when they come back.

Blydes I hope ye made it down too!
