I've been camping in all kinds of weather and not gotten sick and eaten things that have made others sick. I've not been sailing for any length but I love the water and feel comfortable in and around it. I'm decent with a sword, axe, and fist. I don't like hights but I'd do what needed to be done......I think I could have survived as a pyrate in the golden age.

THE PIRATE

Or put you ashore without NO boat,

On an island and leave you for years.

He's a rotter, a wretch and a sinner,

He's foul as a fellow can be,

But if you invite him to dinner,

Oh, please sit him next to me!

Borders did have Treasure Island but they wanted about $25 for it. It is in the kids/family movie section.

I like to beat on things so I play the Dumbec or Bohran.

Let me try to sum up what a lot of us are trying to say......With a lot of alcohol, letting go of reality, a little time, and a whole lot of attitude your friend will be a pirate in no time.....

In the mean time, I'd like to give you some advice that has been passed down from generation to generation in my family. It is a simple one word saying that has helped me get by in life and you have to say it loud and proud that word is: DRINK!!!!!!

Me personal preference would be a bottle in one hand and a match to light the cannons in the other..... and then another bottle me thinks...

however being of viking blood...there's nothing like an axe in your hand to throw, grab anothers weapon, crack a skull, or cut some one open....*thinks of how many people he'd like to use an axe on.....hmmm...not today*

I haven't made an actual flag yet but I finally finished my design. My avatar is the black version and I want to make a red version as well. I'm thinking a good trigger cloth should do for the body and I'll try my hand at painting it on first then if I get a good drunk on maybe I'll try my hand at sewing it......later....

hhhmmmm........I guess I should be dead......the good thing about drinking that much is you don't remember drinking that much...

It is indeed a fine looking colors there Hawk. I have my design, I just need to sober up and get it on cloth......I don't believe I just said something about sobering up....shame on me.....
