I was away for the weekend and found a great gift waiting on the porch for me upon my return. I, once again, believe in Santa and I take back all those terrible things I was thinking about him. I received a beautiful handmade leather portmanteau that will definitely see lots of use for many years. Thanks Santa... (and I know who you really are now!)

Well, another week has gone by and still nothing here. I guess it's time to give up on it.

Nice find, I need to get one myself. The wine bucket at our camp was left behind by someone during the night and I left it out hoping they'd come back for it. They never returned to claim it and it ended up in Fayma's lost and found on Monday.

I'll be there with the same camp setup as usual and Paula will be with me. I'm also going to check on getting another wall tent and fly so we can have more room for displays or demonstrations and extra sleeping space for Mercury crew.

Depends on the supplier. Ive been waiting for a lock I ordered for a gun that I ordered before PiP of '09.

I would imagine that you could have hand made your own lock in a lot less than 3 years Swab. What's the hold up? I don't think I would be quite as patient as you.

I've missed a few but I'll do it again this year.

Well, hopefully I can live up to expectations this year. Paula won't be camping this time so I guess it'll be up to me to try and keep the table supplied with goodies. I will try and pick up a few more seats for use around the table before I get there too.

Back to gear... I also have a small supply of firearms and an extra sword w/ baldric that I can bring along to loan out to someone who is traveling and can't bring theirs. I still need to get the flintlocks upgraded to comply with the new rules. I'm going to be ordering at least 5 flash guards and hammer stalls this week so I'll have 2 pistols, 2 muskets, and the blunderbuss ready to go.
