For all you out there on the east coast keep weather eye for the duo you have heard me speak of in the past...William Pint and Felicia Dale are headed out your way for various festivals, recording sessions and house concerts.....I will be gettin some more information exactly where soon....If you have not heard them, give a listen...you'll like what you hear.
i was at Seattles Folklife Festival last year and picked up a Smithsonian recording of sea shanties from 1974...through the liner notes found that William had a cut on the album...he's been around for a while...and Felicia works in perfect harmony with him and she plays the Hurdy Gurdy...and well)
So anyways....Keep your eyes open for pint and Dale.....

I am also lucky that Olympic Inst. is right across the sound from me....so there is a great deal of Gurdy goins on around here

If you are in the Seattle area this comming Saturday evening at the Center for Wooden Boats Pint and Dale will be doing the first of this seasons Maritime concerts....
The second Friday of each month is the Northwest Seaports Shanty Sing, I mention it this month because the upcomming Shantyman will be none other than Hank Cramer....who has been Shantyman aboard the Lady Washington and other Tall Ships...
If you are in the area and want to know how to get to where we will be drop me a pm and I will gladly get you to us.

It may not be of much help but I have found that as good a selection that Lark in the Morning has you should do some shopping first....I bought a concertina for a couple hundred and found the same one there about 25% higher and in all honesty it wasn't that good of one.
Here in Seattle we have a wonderful concertina player in our "Last Sunday Shanty Sings" her name is Chris Roe and next I see the lass I will see what suggestions she might have for ye....
