  1. ^ In a heartbeat, but not the world, just the Caribbean... Very few places I'd go other than that. (France, Italy, and Bora Bora) < The second I clean the room, the toddler and dog decide to drag out all of their toys... V I'ma pass the previous question on to the next person.
  2. I'm in; figured there'd be my Florida pirates than anything. I'm surprised.
  3. Myspace is just jacked up in general; it's not just accounts. All the traffic, all the copied codes which contain flaws that people put up, all the viruses. Yes, myspace can give you viruses; I've had about five blocked by norton when browsing friends of friends. Myspace is just like a porn-trap, all messed up and full of viruses. I'd delete my account but it's the only contact I have with some friends. Not to mention all the damn animated banners. Damn I wonder how much the owners make... Think about it, they get about 15 cents for everytime someone sees their advertisements which there can be more than one on any page, and the homepage has quite a few I believe. That said lets say the average members checks up on five or so friends... there's something like 170,000,000 members. BNow consider all those big movie releases that they advertise for when you go to log in and the main page is all transformered out. Look at Tom's profile, even before he sold myspace, his pictures always had him traveling and doing some fun stuff that usually cost a good amount of money. Anyway I'm done thinking with my keyboard, lol.
  4. ^ No, an 80 year old man fessed up to doing that famous video; presenting the equipment used for footprints and the suit that was a perfect match. < Only supernatural thing I believe in is aliens; I don't think they visited this earth, but considering that when your take an astronomy class and the textbooks states that there is a star for every grain of sand on every beach on earth... then you look at how stupid people act... you gotta think to yourself, this is not good as it gets... V Do you believe in any supernatural stuff?
  5. ^ Kobe Steakhouse < Hope it's nice out tomorrow, I could use a run followed by a swim... V What's yer favorite water activity. (Besides Piracy ye scurvy dog!)
  6. ^ That's n' easy one Rum < I havent eatin' chocolate in years... it's almost as bad as sodas I'll stick to 6-packs and Cap'n Morgan after it's sat in the freezer for 3 days. V Rum or Beer?
  7. ^ After a seemingly three-day drunk while at a medieval battle, I woke up in the kitchen of a national park camping area 5 miles from my camp. Imagine the scout master's face walking in a kitchen to cook the lil cubs breakfast only to find a half drunk man with a sword and tribal-eqsue warpaint... to add the final touch, "blood stains" all over me garb.Times like that Cap'n James be glad he runs 8 miles a day. EDIT: ^Everything results in my dog attacking me. My wife has a command (Get Daddy) and she goes ballistic clawing and biting... my wife slaps the dog upside the head, the dog runs all the way across the house to bite me for it... damn dog. < Perfect weather, but a green pool... damn. V What's the weather like where you are?
  8. It's not the crew of the Gangrene thats got ole' James worried, it be the crew of the Syphilis... Welcome to the pub Cap'n!
  9. If it's as simple as you're trying to avoid sugar, use honey. I'm not sure which teas are good for their actual flavor though.
  10. Tea to warm up, coffee to wake up. I usually only drink coffee when on active duty, gettin up at 4:30am. I also only smoke when on active duty, as smoking yeilds a break and a chance to get fresh air outside.(although smoking kinda contradicts that)
  11. Yeah that's why I'm goin' barefoot or sandaled, lol. The only stuff I like from the period would not be considered authentic or even practical. Thanks everyone.
  12. Ah ok another invention of hollywood, although it does have a great ring.
  13. Three days old... thread necromancy? http://www.myspace.com/wilkening If ya friend-invite me, send a message too along with it. This way I don't think you're another one of those myspace whores I get at least 5 invites a day from.
  14. So I'm trying to find some accurate garb more fitting for a deckhand than a seasoned captain. That said I'm thinking breeches, a loose shirt and rope sandals for the rare occasion that I'm not barefoot. Anyone know of good online shops known for the quality/durability of such products? Also, can anyone point me to GAoP nautical equipment? (Spyglass, Compass, etc etc)
  15. ^ Havent seen my washboard abs since I got married and became a father... They're coming back slowly; however, I'd love the process to speed up. Or for room temp water to taste like an ice cold 25oz Mich Amber Ultra, head running down the side leaving wet streaks on the frosty glass. *drool* < Kinda want to run to the 7-11 real quick now... V Whats ur favorite brew?
  16. ^ Does hookin' up with Bruce Willis' niece back in high school count? < I feel William's pain, they discontinued "Grown Up Mac n' Cheese" at TGI Fridays. Mac n' Cheese with pico de gallo, strips of ham and two chicken breast, was some great stuff... V How large is your piracy garb collection?
  17. After reading what you said I bought the episode on iTunes for $1.99. It really turned out great with the exception of the cheesy mundane items spray painted gold. If anyone's curious which one it is: Season 2, Episode 2: "Don Vito's Date."
  18. Listening to me entirely period music (Ex's and Oh's - Atreyu), yellin' at me wench about lunch. Jottin down notes about period piracy garb, attempting to weed out pirate myth as not to look like an ass at a festival.
  19. ^ none; when I have to wear some, flip flops < This be the best comic ever: http://simulatedcomicproduct.com/index.php?cid=18 V How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?
  20. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I'll be hoping on the 10 o'clock chat tomorrow, cya then. Note: I'll be inactive for a month as of April 3 (Marine Corps stuff) but I'll be back.
  21. I was actually lookin' into it William. It's an easy 7 hour drive from here. It all boils down to availability. I'll probably have drill during that weekend that I'll have to try and get out of. I already "killed my grandmother off" last year, I wonder what my excuse will be when she actually goes... So I guess my heathen brother is "going to be entering priesthood in December, saying his first mass."
  22. Well I know it's a tabletop game; while on my quest to piss the wife off by impregnating her characters on the sims 2 I notice it's a job title; I even see it as a rank in the forum... Where the hell did the term Dread Pirate originate? How is it different from a regular pirate? (if at all different)
  23. ^ Boating < Waiting to sober up before I head to the beach, I love FL; hmm Sea Kayaking or Surfing... I'll take both. V What is your favorite pirate-themed pastime?
