  1. wow... that is a pyratical cove u've created tharrrr

Cap'n John and I just bought a house.. we arr currently renovating...

the house is a pale yellow siding.. so we arr gonna have the roof shingled in charcoal grey with black eaves.. red front and back door and we have all sorts of pirate paraphernalia to add in as well... the porch will be painted up black and white.. etc... we have custom cut out of skull and crossbones that our house numbers go on etc...

should be a lovely pirate's inland abode when we arr done...

i'm sure it will give the neighbours something to aspire to as well... lol

one of my fav folk/shanty's would be

    Barrett's Privateers...

    O the year was 1778

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

A letter of marque came from the king

To the scummiest vessel I've ever seen

    God damn them all

I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold

We'd fire no guns, shed no tears

Now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier,

    The last of Barrett's Privateers

    2. O Elcid Barrett cried the town

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

For twenty brave men all fishermen who

Would make for him the Antelope's crew

    God damn them all . . . .

    3. The Antelope sloop was a sickening site

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

She'd list to the port and her sails in rags

And the cook in the scuppers with the staggers and jags

    God damn them all . . . .

    4. On the King's birthday we put to sea

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

    Ninety-one days to Montego Bay

Pumping like madmen all the way

    God damn them all . . . .

    5. On the ninety-sixth day we sailed again

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

When a great big Yankee hove in sight

With our cracked four-pounders we made to fight

    God damn them all . . . .

    6. The Yankee lay low down with gold

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

She was broad and fat and loose in stays

But to catch her took the Antelope two whole days

    God damn them all . . . .

    7. Then at length she stood two cables away

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

Our cracked four-pounders made awful din

But with one fat ball the Yank stove us in

    God damn them all . . . .

    8. The Antelope shook and pitched on her side

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

Barrett was smashed like a bowl of eggs

And the main truck carried off both me legs

    God damn them all . . . .

    9. Now here I lay in my twenty-third year

How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now

It's been six years since we sailed away

And I just made Halifax yesterday

    God damn them all . . . .

  7. here's the reality of spirits from my experience... they don't have an hour.. they can be active anytime of the day or night.. although we generally will not notice their activity during the day due to all the noise and commotion of everyday activities... we tend to think they are more active at night because that is when our subconscious is most prominent when we sleep and are moving in and out of Rem... we become more open to what is happening around us through subconscious perception...

the witching hour varies depending on cultural background... gypsies tend to believe it is at 1am.. others 3 am...

again i can only go from my experiences.. where most of the activity took place around 3:33am.... strange but true...
