  1. We had a great time today despite the rain. Trying to steal the canoe with Firefly was fun....was really hoping to see the despair on Michael's face when he noticed his mode of transportation missing.

And yes, the fundraiser was good. We have a TON of tickets because Michael bought like 6 rolls of tickets, so we may have to do it again some time!

I have a bunch of pictures that Miss Maureen took (I didn't touch my camera all weekend except to show Maureen how to use it), and I will try and get them posted tomorrow.

For now though, tis time for bed. Hamish is out like a light and using his new bunny as a pillow, Salty is engrossed in a Fashion in Detail book, Callenish is drinking a glass of milk, and Mickey is passed out like he did some work this weekend. ;)

  2. Mission....as a side note.

Becky scares the crap out of me every time I go in there to get the vacuum cleaner or print something....

I had to cover her up so Rats could sleep when he was here.

Thought about taking her out of the gibbet and seatbelting her into the front seat for driving to Paynestown....was a bit worried about being pulled over for having a corpse in my passenger seat. That and I am sure her navigation skills are lacking.

Though....she would have made a good addition to my zombie story...

  3. Misson darling....you'll need antibiotics for six months at least....

Kidding. Well....I can't honestly tell you how bad it is. It looks pretty scudgy. Mark would know better.

And you know that I will photograph it if you climb that ladder. That's what I do....I shoot....with a Nikon. :)

  4. Loved it, Mission.

BTW- Mickey was branded a thief, put on trial, beaten, and throat slit because he was seen cavorting with the Captains lady. Despite her best efforts to save him, he was still killed and dragged off. Meanwhile, I took applications for a new husband. The Quartermaster of that crew took a shine to me. And he liked my butterscotch rum cake.

And....it's embroidery. No cross stitching for me. Cross stitch involves too much counting and math. :)

  5. I've chatted extensively with several people in regards to head coverings, and I firmly believe that you have to find what works for you, much like Chole said. I think that I darn near gave Kass a heart attack when I told her I was ready to even wear something on my head aside from my bonnet, which by the way was a gift from the lovely Lily Alexander (and I still love it as much as I did the day she gave it to me).

I really like my stupid little cap (affectionately nicknamed, I assure you) because it keeps the hair out of my face and up off of my neck, and markedly cleaner over a hot, sweaty weekend. And it's better now that Chole gave me a little hint about how to keep the thing actually on my head!

  6. I did send you the link to the eBay seller that has the 99 colours of silk taffeta, didn't I?

I plan on ordering some of the gold/pink I think. I don't care if I am not allowed any more pink. I like it. ;)
