I'm not Fayma, but I can sort of answer your question. There will be a fire pit in the Fort. The issue that's being looked into is the fire, or possibly fires, in relation to the distance away from all the tents. The other issue, as always, will be getting fire wood for the fires. Some details are still being worked out but will try to get a better answer for you soon.

I guess my question is ...what would you be using this beautiful garment for? Were Jumps used for formal wear?
From everything I have read, jumps were worn for warmth, working, when sick, in the home and informal wear.
Here is more info in the Twill thread.

I HIGHLY recommend a mock for the pink stays as, from what I recall from a person who attempted the pattern for the pink stays, and sent me photos of the completed project asking what went wrong, the pattern does not line up properly with the line drawings of the original as posted in the Hart and North book
I am said person that attempted the pink stays from Kass's pattern. If you would like details, please pm me.

Lets, I think I can fill in the rest of the gaps.
2. Edward's brother spells his name Galen. I don't think I'll ever get used to calling him that though.
4. The other Chinese pirate this year is David Mason, otherwise known as "Manchu"
6. The best I can do on Stich's name is Timothy.

I believe part of the reason is because they don't want the beach people to see them. They don't want to tell the paying people "you can't do that" and have them see ours and think it's also ok for them.

Tick count stands at 3, Mosquito's = too numerous to count, battling enormous spiders = 1. All in all, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
It was wonderful to meet so many new folks and as always spending time with old friends is worth every bite and scratch. Thanks to Dutch,CSF & the Holly Point Maritime Museum for providing such a great venue.
