This is, of course, the OTHER thread Bilgemunky was speaking of when he mentioned moving our discussion of the 2007 event to the new thread.
I'm very excited to say that the Jolly Rogers will be joining us this year. Are there any Kansas City Renaissance Faire fans that will be joining us to see them?
Aye, it is because of the Jolly Rogers that I learned of the new dates and started the thread.
I have heard them preform only once, but LOVED them. I was hoping the Bristol would get them too this year.
Cheers!

**Sigh** breakfast in bed would be nice....
Aye, it would be good providing there was a sweet maiden to share it with...
The breakfast and the bed.

Aye, adding my name of the people that use GE for exploring the coast I one day hope to sail...
I might have to give the other a try. It is downloading now.
-
Well done. You have got my creative energy flowing... I guess we will see what happens.

Time and money.... hmmmm why do they always sound like dirty words?
Boy some of you folks have it made... I think my spouse would give me that look "You want to do what to the house!?!"
Time and Money are very dirty words for this pirate. The chest has been a little light since we bought our house in April. One of these days I will try to finish the basment area I have claimed as my own, but those nasty things call time and money keep reering their heads.
Aye, not sure if I should be sad or not... The spouce in question is leaving me... Now I have the place and not the cash...
Oh well I will have my Pirate cove yet!.

I have not seen anyone post the dates yet for the:
Port Washington's Pirate Festival
It be happening... June 1-3, 2007
I hope to be seeing some of you there...
From their website:
The Port Washington Pirate Festival includes an Invasion, a Thieves Marketplace, Musicians, Comedians, a Pirate Ship, A Treasure Hunt, Children's Activities, a Gruel Galley and Much More.
In its second year, the festival drew over 12,000 attendees.
We have many more treasures planned for 2007. Pirate Fever is at a frenzied pitch. This festival brings out an amazing array of visitors; boaters, bikers, re-enactors & families alike. Port Washington with its
scenic harbor is the perfect picturesque settings for all this mayhem and merriment. Come Aboard!

Wow that is truly sad, perhaps some people who are enthusiats can start a small one, such as the originating one did back in the hey day of the 60's
Aye, if I was closer I would lend a sword and hand mate. Sorry to hear that news.

I can not even locate any hotel information on the island which is not a good sign. According to an article in a 2004 copy of “Travel Agent Magazine” on Haiti, the island are very primitive, by our standards and even compared to the “main land” Haiti..........
Hotel? What kinda pirate are you anyway?
I would preferr to stay on board me ship, however it is a way that I can usually pull information on a specific area.

You're quite welcome! Your post inspired me te go diggin!
Being home yesterday, I was off from work (Yay Me!), I spent some time checking the island out from the google satellite images. Pretty cool. Thanks for inspiring me to do it. Now that it is at the front of my brain, I am going to check out some other pirate ports today!

What does Capt. Wind look for in a woman?
Hmm… Good question. I guess first it is appearance, I have to admit I am a breast man, however this will just get me to look at a woman, I prefer a woman with intelligence and a sense of humor, they can have all the booty and breasts in the world and be a complete 10 but if they are missing the rest… They will not be riding the Buccaneer’s Lust.
Wow when did I stop being shallow?

Only drooling.................. and dreaming.......... and hoping one day........
That makes two of us lad. My chest be empty. Back out onto the sea for plunder.

I would have prefered a sly smile to the phony stony look.
And I'm bettin' it ain't anatomically correct either!
Naw, I perfer the one I already have and he's alive and has the 'real deal'.
I will personally pass looking under the captain's sail to see.

I've wrestled with angels all my life
I't's always the halos and the wings that make you blind....
I can relate to that, 'cept I have wrestled with demons most of mine. The big difference is the Rum is never gone.
