  1. Tess St. Claire scurried down the cobble stone street giving chase to the carriage. She was less the ¼ of a mile down the road when the skies opened up. With a distasteful tone she muttered under her breath and soon quickened her step. She dodged several people, children and the occasional dog as she continued on her caravan of contempt after the allusive carriage. Now half out of breath, Tess was very happy to see it come to a stop in front of the Three Crowns Inn. She watched as the actress and her two dog’s bodies enter the tavern. “So, this is where your lair is, eh Mistress McKinney?” With a deep breath she quickly dashed inside to find a dry warm place to confront her. Tess looked about the tavern. Before she entered further, Tess stood there at the entrance and shook off her cap and hood to herself dry. Tess eyed the tavern only to find that there was no sign of Mistress McKinney, but sitting at a small wooden table next to the bar was one of her dog’s bodies. Tess smiled lightly to herself. “Well, this will do …for a start.” She walked slowly to the table as if to give the illusion that she was floating on air. It did not take long before the man in the buff colored coat noticed her approach. He quickly removed his hat and stood to greet her. “My Lady,” He said with a soft warm tone. “May I be of some assistance?” Her eyes dipped over his frame and back again. “Surely, you can indeed.” She said smiling her sweetest of smiles.
  2. Mushi...Mushi...Lil Ming! (Do you hail from the land of the Raising Sun)?
  3. Grill Cheese sandwich and chicken noodle soup...
  4. She moved over to where the man was standing. “Very well, here is your five guineas for now. But do not cross me or swindle me sir, for I will know if you do.” Tess’ tone drifted from soft to stern within a flicker of her eyelashes. The man bowed low and doffed his hat to her. “I shall report back as soon as I am able, with the item in hand, so to speak.” She nodded and showed him the door. She listened as she shut the door behind her. “Now, where was I?” She thought to herself. She had been in the middle of correspondence when the ruckus occurred in the room next door. She returned to her writing desk when the sound of a carriage made its way through the street. She briefly looked out the window to by chance, see who passed by. The heck was from the stables in town and could be rented for a small fee. She lent over closer for a better look. Her heart froze for a moment as she glimpses the face of a familiar adversary. “It cannot be!” She muttered to herself as she lent almost out her window. She tried to peer into the small carriage as it faltered near the side street just before it turned down the alley towards the other street of Inns in Port Royal. Then the carriage disappeared in the mass confusion of the busy streets. She wrinkled her nose up in disgust. “Damn! If that woman is here Captain Sterling is most likely with her.” “Damn…Damn them to Hell!” She continued muttering to herself …her voice becoming gruff and load with contention. She quickly grabbed her cape and hood and made her way out of the inn and towards the direction of where the carriage had gone.
  5. Tess looked at him. Her eyes engulf his figure. “Well then…” She said relaxing her pose and resting her hands on the back of her writing desk chair. “Looks like we have something in common, don’t we?” The man looked at her with peculiar look. “We are after the same thing, aren’t we and what ever bit of coin we can acquire by doing what ever it takes, we are much better for it, right?” The man soon relaxed in her presences. Tess then offered him the chair as she took the bedside. “I need Killingsworth’s body. I have to send it back to London or whatever is left of it; I will pay handsomely for it if you can retrieve it and secure it promptly for me. Shall we say 10 guineas? Now, are you up for the task?”
  6. Tess looked back at this man. "Talk? If you wish to talk with me sir you must state your business quickly or I will have you thrown out of this tavern. Now, what can I do for you?" She said with a smile. "Or better yet, what can you do for me?" She waited to hear his reply as the sounds of the street life became busy.
  7. Tess staggers to her feet after having another glass of red wine. "A naked man?! Where?!?" She then stumbles back to her chair. "Why is it that I never can remember seeing a naked man And I have nightmares about the damn thing, too! I cannot seem to win!" She slumps over in her chair. "I'm gonna be sick!"
  8. True...very clever indeed...though, I am probably the only one that doesn't have photoshop or some type of photo design program!... Couldn't do it if I tried.
  9. Whirring of my heater….it is cold here today!
  10. Lady Tess quickly fell back into her room as the stranger pushed the door close. “Looks like you have arrived at a most excited time!” She said standing there eyeing him up and down. “I’m sorry I did not get your name?” She moved over to her desk, knowing that there was a pistol lodged between a few bits of paper and the bible. “You seek me out…why? Is there something you think I can offer you?” She turned slowly towards the writing desk. “As for my choice of lodgings, this suits me just fine. I find the locals and their life style very…amusing.” Then in a blink of an eye she quickly pulls the pistol out from under the desk and smiles at the stranger. “Now then…out with it. Tell me who you are and why you are here! Who sent you?”
  11. Tess SHOUTS....Cheeky! Both of you! As for your first mate, Ransom...I am sure you are happy to get rid of him. As for Jacky here...time will tell.
  12. Tess pulled herself her bed and wondered who in God’s name would be knocking upon her door. It was bad enough that her lodgers down the hall were making such a ruckus. Soon she felt her stomach twist a bit. “Perhaps it’s the guards come back to tell me they have found the body of Killingsworth…or perhaps it could be that boy Jack again.” She thought to herself. She stopped in front of the broken looking glass to straighten her appearance, and then opened the door to find a stranger at it. “Hello?” She said with a soft smile. “May I help you?”
  13. If you are referring to my cream soaked dress...no. She said with a bit of a frown. If you are speaking of the one I received in my room, the blue one with the card that said something lovely about ...'as blue as my eyes....Yes...I adore it!"
  14. Tess looks over at Jacky and smiles lightly...."Hope springs eternal, Luv."
  15. Lady Tess sat upon her stripped bed drinking another shot of whiskey. This place was being run by an idiot. She thought to herself. Why would anyone want Killingsworth’s body? She dreaded the thought of telling Robert B. Darnly about this…but not just yet. Killingsworth’s body still needed to be found, but Sam wanted nothing to do with the search after she showed him the body for removal. He turned white as a sheet and ran out the door. She came to Port Royal to find Killingsworth, but was hoping to find Captain Sterling and perhaps make a little money too. But now, things were taking a horrible turn. She looked over at the writing desk. “No…not yet, I shan’t write you Darnly until I can manage a claim to Killingsworth’s body. But how…who will I seek out to assist in this tasks at hand?”
  16. Tess shoots a look to Ransom, "Be careful, Dearie....you may not wake up with him by your side...but you may find a dagger in your back!"
  17. Well Jacky Tarr? Says Lady Tess St. Claire looking at him with her large dark blue eyes. What chatches your fancy this evening? A stoll or a game of cards? Come, come, come...quickly...the night yields to no one!" She said as she pulled a deck from her hand bag. "Like them? They are Turkish in design..."
