Last night:
Ruby Port
-
Hope you made it home safely, Silkie!
Next year, we're definitely getting snow tires!
-
Ugh! Couple of inches of snow overnight, and lots of crashes this morning. Many cars sliding into the ditch. One flipped onto its roof:

And Mr. H. had to take the car to work today, which makes me worry.
Heavy snow continuing the rest of the day.

By any chance be there any Doctor Who fans out there? Curious if any of ye have kept up with the latest episodes.
Well, YES!
Even made some Doctor Who fanvids for the current series:
English Rose
The Doctor/Donna: We're SO not married!
Doctor Who: Apocalypse
And one for the 1996 TV movie starring Paul McGann as the 8th Doctor:
Doctor Who: Strange Town

Just got back from the hairdresser's. Only wanted my bangs trimmed. Got talked into having the dry ends trimmed off the entire length. And the hairdresser was so focused on not taking too much off the length, that she barely took any off the bangs.
So, that took much longer than I had intended -- and I still look like a Chrissie Hynde wannabe!

Frozen margaritas
And now my tongue has frostbite!

Sorry for the lycra in my jeans. I'm sure it was never meant to have to stretch this much!
-
And no I do not mind a pipe,
Oh, good, then I'll light up a wine-dipped cigarello and we can drink port and play poker!
(Reminds me of high-school slumber parties!)
[sigh -- IRL, I gave up smoking about 20 years ago. Still drink port, though! *g*]

Glad you survived that nasty crash, Bo!
BUCKLE UP FOLKS.Yup, seatbelts saved my life and Mr. H's several years ago when we were hit from behind by a drunk driver. His pick-up truck spun our little compact car 180 degrees to end up in a ditch. Car was totalled, we were both knocked unconcsious, the VFD had to pry us out with the jaws of life. That model of car predated air-bags, but, thanks to our seatbelts, we survived with just concussions and whiplash (which was bad enough).
And that Black Ice sounds scary, Bo! Roads are deceptively slippery here today too. Glad I talked Mr. H. into taking the subway this morning instead of driving:

Get well soon, Bo!
And stay safe, everyone!

Last night: Hobgoblin Ruby Beer
Which went down very nicely with a marathon of my Robin of Sherwood DVDs.

I made roast beef & Yorkshire pudding last night.
And we had lots of leftovers, so I just finished eating a very nice toasted tomato & rare roast beef sandwich for lunch.
Tonight: more leftover roast beef, heated up in gravy.
[still anaemic. So, I say, "Bring on the beef!]
