Well if it helps, Blackbeard's will be moved next year for the 400th anny of Hampton, so it will be taking place in July. But camping will be necessary, as I was told camping was not allowed this past PW.

Not that you are actually getting this message right now, as you are most likely on the road...so basically, I'm talking to myself right now... ack spent way too much time with Cousin Robbie on Sunday.... God, I seriously need some sleep....

I have this rig, and honestly, its a nightmare to work with... as I was moving from stern to bow on the Explorer last weekend, we all came to the conclusion that this particular set up may just be an artist's imagination....

I know folks like to keep their kit "aged and dirty" but I highly recommend polishing your shoes. Leather needs to be taken care of and a good polishing in between events will help do that, besides they will get dirty enough once you get to the next event. Personally I think that folks back then took care of what they had as they usually didn't have much of any given item of clothing and they certainly didn't run down the block to the local store and pick up what they needed when ever they needed it. Also since so many people could at least sew some what, I truly wonder how many folks actually walked around all the time with raggy hems and torn items....

Home...finally... a bit of a rough day but the event was fantastic and as Mickey put it, the company priceless. Mr. O'Keeffe and Mistress Alexander are with me for the night. Arrived in a down pour at Hampton and got home in time for the skies to open once more... ripe, soaked again and ready for bed.

Speaking of Momma Ratzzi, will she have the photos from RF5 with her? There were some pics she took that we would very much like to see or have if at all possible. Not sure, haven't heard either way about that in particular.

Honestly folks, there will be plenty of pictures, aside from Kate, Momma and Poppa Ratzzi will be there as well....although Momma and I are going drinkin... so her pictures may be a bit ... crooked..

Inhaling something to eat and picking paint out of my hair whilst impatiently waiting for the first coat of paint to dry... dang, if we could only really beat snotties then they would be the ones full of paint and I could be hemming a coat...

Oi anyone know how to properly sharpen a quill?? I have 1500 pardons to sign... I guess I will have to fish with my left hand, I have a feeling the right one is going to be a bit cramped...

Damn so busy sewing ballgowns, mantuas and embroidering coats, making desks and galley boxes, wrapping cargo, that I almost forgot to pack the fishing poles... Oh btw, everyone else will be so bloody busy whilst I am fishing that they won't have time to take pictures either....
