The funeral will be in camp, on the beach, due to the fact that we want folks to come to the beach area... you stretch this out over too much territory and it most likely won't work.

Well then... ahem... **pulling on cravat and trying desperately hard not to laugh** The ..um Mercury crew needs to get their arses out of bed by a normal time and get to work!! We plan to be doing a funeral... one reason why the two different crewes are in the same location... a temporary truce in order to bury Sterling's dead son, so we will be teaching on funeral practices of the period as well as other every day items... so far the hangings are a go and the brawl will be bloody brilliant..

Oi ye can always car pool with me, Silkie and the snotties...

And nay, she did NOT sign any Mercury articles, if there even are any.... besides what are articles only a piece of paper... now where is that lit cigar of mine!

Not to worry...We'll set Patrick on 'im. He knows where Sterling's blind side is. I'll have Cheeky down there this year... no one will be able to sneak up on me then... besides... I have been dubbed, the straight laced, by the book, honest hero type... no one gets the upper hand on that type...

Problem being that they obviously don't have a problem with weapons during the parade, its when folks wander about afterwards on their own, peace tied or not...

Problem being that 99% of the police wouldn't notice either and would still be stopping folks and asking questions and then without a sword to show them....horrors...

As I recall it, being told by Maddogge, as soon as they saw the police confront one guy, he and Gunner ducked down the nearest alley... now that be real pirates for you... okay.. pirate hunters.... snigger.

Ack missed this... hmmm maybe because I was too busy kowtowing to this guy all weekend?? Happy belated birthday Cap'n Pern. Next year we shall have to have Cookie make you a cake, after all he had nothing to do all day.

Iron Jon, you were sorely missed. Hope you are feeling better! Next year... believe me this is one event you don't want to miss, especially a second time.

Well there are a few in between but the next big one that all of us can make with these folks will be Beaufort, NC. August 8,9, 10... be there or you will miss a swinging good time. Oh Oh Make me dance the Hempen Jig!!!! Please Please Pleeeeaaaase!! I don't know Pern, yer taller than the gallows...
