  1. I have to admit that this is one of my all time favorites... this could ONLY happen to Cheeky..
  2. Sorry Jack, can't say I've noticed....
  3. Aye but I have one and an RN who keeps saying in amazement "OMG what the hell is wrong with you now? You don't look good."
  4. I may use that if you don't mind. Hmmm use it ... how? Put it on my web page version of the journal. With credit, naturally. If you really want to, be my guest.
  5. WOO HOO!!! Oh, ye meantioned she's doin' this with a spoon? :::Evil grinz; manical laughter, folding of hands:::: Oh, that spoon won't have a bleedin' chance against m' saber. But... if we wanna fight fair... I'll bring m' big spoon, too. Or th' rollin' pin. ~Lady B Um... have ye seen her spoon? or for that matter, Mary's new ladle...
  6. Ack... John Sterling, former tailor... ack... damn Crispy talk about an image killer...snigger.... actually I would be happy to teach a lesson to anyone interested but let's do it after hours when the public isn't around... be a bit easier I would think.
  7. Bout time someone stole something of Stinky's! Oi Cheeks and I stole his bottle of Pyrate's Choice... oh wait, that was Jim's bottle, that Stynky stole from him....we just kind of stole it back...
  8. Be nice Mission and maybe we shall chain Stynky to a tree along with William next PiP.
  9. Does that make me and Mickey lost artists?
  10. Oi are we wearing kilts to the ball at RF5 again this year? Hell kilts or breeches, Maddogge may still be the prettiest, but I still have the best legs....snigger...
  11. Maddogge, what would ye know about "green fairy?"
  12. Hey Lady, no offense but Am. Civil War dresses will not work for GAoP. If you want a truly period correct Am. Civil War, I would recommend contacting Elizabeth Stewart Clark click HERE. Lady Brower do you sew for others? If you truly want period correct GAoP, I might be able to help you...pm me
  13. Hmmm when sewing the linen haven't needed anything...sometimes the wool will stretch though
  14. Not a problem... there's the slit in the first sketch... its from an original, so the slit is fine.
  15. GoF is always a pleasure to deal with... if I had the cash I would scof up that blue grosgrain silk in a flash, but alas.... such is life at the moment...
  16. Captain...mayhap we should have a quick impromptu demo for all of us who wishes to learn this "DREADED" technique. I know that I would love to learn this too! I wonder if being left-handed has anything to do with the 'slantiness' of my stitching? Nothing dreaded about it... you embroider, you should be able to pick it up in no time... I'll be embroidering buttons.. I hope...
  17. Thanks, just curious... I can never get those pictures to translate well... I greatly appreciate it when Mickey does the translating...
  18. This looks rather like the chemise dress circa 1785...
  19. What kind of slit?? Center front neckline about 3" or so down? like in the sketch I posted?
