Ok - whats yer reaction to a manager who insist on stepping in whithin yer personnal space and obligating ye to shake his hand every danm time the fellow passes by ya, never havin much too say either. Mine Was 1. I am not paid to have physical contact with anyone. though I'll Table dance for 100,000,000 -ok 2. The person is giving me germs, a virus, he got from shaking 20 other co-workers hands. IE. he's goona get us all sick. 3. Use a known megaphone ( another superviser) telling The Exsessive hand shaker will be reported to human resourses. It worked so far. Though I still see him shaking everyones hands he has avoided me since. He should be a manager not a buddy anyhow..

Nothing is actually mounted yet . I still need to sand the Cap rails and floorboards before staining and finishing. I had to cut the security window iron work for clearance and will re-weld it tommarow. I;m stoked to see how it's coming out. rounding and using a router really helped the look.

Alot of people who were sentenced to "transportation" or slavery to Jamacain plantations from England were fodder for Piracy.. And yeah most were already criminals. I was just following the Idea that pirates were not at sea 24-7 year-around and had to do things that included being legit for a time to make ends meet till opertunity arrived in the form of joinin another crew or rejoining the previous crew they served with. Life was hard in that time for most. PIrates and "crimminals alike" ( though I see no real distinction apart from being saliors) had it harder because they were not generally accepted in society.

I would add one more and that was being a fisherman..

I will be getting some belaying pins for decor. Tying off rope unfortunatley cutts down on the available space to walk about and the railing supports may not support ropes that are taunt. I am not ruling it out as of yet but I do have to be thoughtful as to how I go about it. I donnot want to attach the rail to the ajacent building because of ground movement -which in turn will create more structural stress on the building which is already a leaning building. The awning is old and shifts about depending on temperature. I have mini rope latters on the Starboard side for example, that are lax when it is hot and taunt when it rains. As to Actually putting a sail on the cieling of the awning, I aspire to, however I will have to do more research because some the things you explain are just not in my reach mentally as of yet. I have only sailed in a sail boat once..get me drift.. My best example was in the restraunt called the Brigantine, one room had all the rigging and sails wit a crows nest. I don't think I 'll get that carried away nontheless I may eat those word latter. When I complete the railing I will post some pics of the work and "we" can go from there. Keep the suggestions coming. And if anyone lives here in So. CAL. that sees an old rotting wooden boat someone wanrt to get rid of lett me know. I want to cut it in 1/2 and stant it up and put shelving in it for flowers and of course Pirate figurines.

Perhap ye can add those babes to callenish gunners "bead thread" I sure they'ell be a nice addition.

Pirates fer the most part are not "frozen in the theme of piracy" Lots of 'em would go on~one or two cruises to make some quick / and sometimes only available cash. Many would find other work when it was available. - Pirates by convienience- Sure there were "permanent pirates" whose entire life was dedicated to drinkin and piracy . However there is distinction between "carreer Pirates and those who dabbled. Going Pirate as it were is as you already answered yer own question- Going outside the Law..

well this "contest" was not and it looks like Captain_MacNamara gets the goodies. End of contest

I need to look at a few ships to figure how many / and what number I should sustain with out every thing winding up lookin like a spider web.. The Idea was in my head already but you guys are keeping me on track and on my toes! I -e- mailed Captain_MacNamara to see about cost.. The cap rail itself is gonna be 11" wide to the wall so we can put piratety stuff on 'em. I really want one of those Model ships Heather has posted.

Ok.. Nice bike Harbormaster! Eye was thinkin ..vespa?? For my self. Tyme to park the jeep, but wait~ it's cold in the morning~Oderlesseye whines BBBUURRR! So he fills his jeep for $30.00 and totals at near $80.00-$90.00 monthly. At least I dont have to put milk in it. The island thing- ok I did think to sell my house and Get the one for $200,000 but then I thought about storm surge and some sort of employment and God knows all the hoops to jump through.. Well I guess I jest pump more gas...Burp! As to the immagrant thing, my opinion is that ifen they are so proud of thier country to fly a Mexican flag in the United States ~ Then go home! And how come I don't hear Legal immagrants complainin about those who would "take cuts" in front of those trying to get here legally? There are alot of folks who are separated from the rest of their family waiting in line.
