  1. /With an appreciative smile, returns kisses and takes the offered seat/ Merci, mon ami! Pour l'amour de Dieu, so good to see you! You are well, oui? /Nods to Lady Snow and Mercenary Wench/ Oui. Enchante, Mademoiselle Snow. I do remember Mademoiselle Mercenary. /Pours the wine and samples/ Magnifique choix, mon cher!
  2. /Placing a stack of texts down on a nearby table/ Monsieur Wake, salut!! A bottle of Pernod, s'il vous plait? Formidable! Merci beaucoup, mon ami. Capitaine Ciaran!! Ca va? Mon verre s'ennuie tout seul. Est-ce que votre verre veut bien le rejoindre?
  3. Dear William, le plat du jour does look apealing, but I think a glass of champagne will be enough for now, s'il vous plait. Merci beacoupe, mon cher. I will take you up on the wine you had proffered another time when it is slow, if the invitaion is still open, oui? Dancing Boys, William? I did not realize your bristo offered a floor show. What an interesting notion.
  4. Bravo et magnifique, William!! What my distant cousins call "the Soup of Life", mon ami!! I would very much like a large bowl of the Gumbo and a side of Shrimp Remoulade! Do not spare the Cayenne, s'il vous plait! I will assume that you are prefecting the roux the traditional way, oui? Ah, a bottle of Burgandy would compliment very well. Merci beaucoup, William!!
  5. Then you do me honor by proffering an elixer of refined caliber. I dare say I quake with anticipation in thought of partaking such. /Watches as William departs then returns/ Might I suggest pheasant to accompany the wine. A fowl of king's is the only thing that should be considered of appropriate status to accompany libation of exquisite refinement, oui?
  6. /blushes/ Such verbose you proffer.....Do it again.
  7. A very lovely notion, dear William...For the moon is in her Full phase and I can think of no better thing than delicate pasteries and a rich-bodied wine to be shared between friends in silvery lumination.
  8. Please. Any requests? /Fills a glass of sherry and slides it over to William with a nod/ Requests? Non, I trust your judgement, mon ami. It is a pity, if I had known that you were of musical pursuation, I would have brought my 'cello and offered a duet. Perhaps another time, oui? My compliments on this delectible meal, William. Such flavor would please Neptune himself! Bravo!!
  9. Dear William, such a wonderful offer and merci! Oui, I think that the soft and delicate notes of the mandolin would be a beautiful compliment to this meal. You are ever so considerate, mon ami. A glass of Sherry for you?
  10. The morning weather here is cold and wet so I decided on somthing easy going with tales of warmer climates.... Kenny Chesney- Be As You Are (Songs From An Old Blue Chair)
  11. /Finding a empty table near the rail and flooded in sunshine, sets down a small stack of texts and nods to all present/ Monsuier Wake! It is a day of relaxation for myself and your grand bristo suits my need. If you would be so kind, a bottle of Sherry, a platter of warm water lobster with a bowl of crab bisque to proceed the main course, s'il vous plait. Merci beaucoup!
  12. Let's see, in my blurred morning state of comatose, the morning brings Three Dog Night's "Greatest Hits" and a cup of joe.
  13. The title track is a feast to the senses. And no one can argue with lyrics like... "She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running like a watercolor in the rain...." God I love it!
  14. Methinks the Lady might mean REspired conversation - with the iron lung a'pumpin'... Not quite ready for the respirator yet. Ask me again in another half century turn.
  15. Bouef cote? Excellent, mon cher! Light on the sauce and very well done, with a bottle of Bordeaux, s'il vous plait. Merci beaucoup, William!
  16. With age comes wisdom....Or so they say. At least far more inspired conversation.
  17. An unconcious smile shows in response to the distant salutation as Jaquelyn raises the delicate flute to partake of fizzed sweetness. A moment of savor is broken by the sharp edge of barking commands and the cleave of steel. Moving from relaxed state to deffensive alertness, she stands to full height and looks intently to the opposit beachhead. A small hand searches the folds of brocade to rest on the familiar grip of charged wood and steel. Withdrawing the filagreed pistol from its hidden sleeping place, the realization occures...It's a movie, it's only a movie. With a small shrug of shoulders, Jaquelin returns to her former place of ease. Pistol stowed, flute refilled, she gazes back to see the familiar silhouette gliding the fluid surface two points to the further east. Another strawberry conquered, another sip of bubbled sweet, a toast to evening tranquility...
  18. Did I just date myself with that information? Ok, ok...I remember their songs being played on the FM dial. But, I was just a snot-nosed kiddo back in those days.
  19. Adjusted lyrics to a song By The Guess Who. A little before your time, mon amie.
  20. Relaxing on a small outcropping of smooth rocks, Jaquelyn's celestial musings are broken at the notice of a shadow's movement in near proximity. Visually following the unknown's progress, recognition falls into place as the jeering of disturbed seabirds call out in protest to William's trespass. She is momentarily amused by their fussing, which is quickly balked by instinctual concern at the sight of William's hopping in reaction to some unseen hinderence. Relief floods forth as he continues on into the surf, undaunted by the hidden foe. Closing her eyes, she is enchanted by the ambience of salt air and the flow of melodies that dance across the rolling surface to her welcoming ears. Taking a ripe strawberry from a small container lying nearby, she admires its perfection for a second before raising a glass of Champagne in silent salute to William.
  21. Roll out the barrel, I am buying. One salute to the passing of a dear friend is never enough. May he find peace and happiness in the hereafter and never lack in saturation of mice. Salute!!
  22. Dearest William, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It's so terrible to lose a close and loved companion. My heart felt and deepest condolences to you.
  23. Magnifique, Monsieur Wake! Merci beaucoup! Mon plaisir to be of service to your discomfort, mon ami. Un eclair, Mlle. Merrydeath?
