  1. I know, it shows just how accurate one can be when the illustrator that has never stepped foot out of England and draws from someone else's written description.
  2. Way back in the Pub's history, William Brand had permission to upload PDF images/documents. But with the disorganized state of the messageboard software system, I'm not sure if or how well they were cataloged/organized. Maybe we should create a library section of sorts...
  3. Back when Kass/Reconstructing History frequented the Pub, a few of us had similar issue, they are great patterns however. I usually ended up trying to compare them to simpler online sources and store bought (none period) patterns to make some bastardized monstrosity.
  4. It's incredible how compact/dense the township is built up or was - amazing.
  5. Sorry for not giving you much time on this, but we're looking to get a bulk of orders committed to and paid for - immediately. Those that pre-order will get shirts ahead of everyone else at a discount. These shirts will likely be available for purchase on our Etsy store, not sure when or what the price difference will be.
  6. Everybody Please Welcome Capt Keith to Pyracy Pub!
  7. Was his expedition to kill Blackbeard, funded out of his/Maynard's own pocket or was he just not fully rewarded as expected?
  8. Everyone Welcome Loofa to Pyaracy Pub!
  9. LOL, I know - the second image made sense to my recollection, but they're both great images.
  10. Before our April 2024 1721 event at Fort King George, I had been skimming, "The Forgotten History of America" and was looking through the 1715/1716 section on the Carolinas. I believe it was there that mentioned Port Royal - I mistakenly assumed Jamaica. At the event while discussing the general history of the area, Tartan Jack pointed out that the book was talking about a different Port Royal. Anyway I figured it was close by, I just didn't realize it was talking about Port Royal Island - thanks for clarifying.
  11. Here's one we've setup for the Pub. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Pyracy
  12. Hey Sully, do you have a source from where this info came from?
  13. Thanks Duchess, that's a pretty cool collection.
  14. Just reading through your last bulk of posts - really wonderful stuff, thank you.
  15. So Port Royal (Island) is Beaufort? Why did I think Port Royal was south of Beaufort?
  16. In regards to the first picture, on Facebook you mentioned something about the lack of hills/mountains surrounding St Augustine. I've only been there a couple times and don't recall much in the way of high ground.
  17. Wow, great stuff! I really like that last map.
  18. Your new mug has a ton lot of character and I don't think you'll have to worry about someone walking off with it. I've got a friend that does ceramics, I'm trying to talk he into making small, irregular drink tumblers for us.
  19. Our new shirts are printed on a rich chocolate brown, with the Pyracy Pub logo on the front and featuring our 18th Century Trade Card Art on the back.
