We are 18x40 sleeping Approx. 12 perhaps more ....that is plus eating space and kitchen in that same space

BANGERANG!!!

I can get you additional oak as well lad ;) not that I'd be trying to bribe you into making a spare of those
-
Nice blog ...but where are the pictures??? ;)
-
We'll see what we can come up with from gunsmithing/blade sharpening to pottery/silversmithing

A female wolf spider with her egg sack yeah she was about two & a half/ three inches across ...shame she hadn't eaten more mosquitoes
And those younger pyrates help to inspire and keep us older salts here to help share the knowledge and bring 'em along....and you keep us on our toes and bringing on our own self-improvement as well. Thank all of you so much.
-
We arrived home safe and sound ...only one tick each for our crew ....Now mosquito bites that's another question Lost count when I counted 46+ just on my right ankle & foot....I might need to get a transfusion for loss of blood ;)
Fantastic event Dutch!!! A fine batch of serious new reenactors and was great to see those who have been friends for many years too!! Great location for an encampment and moonlight maneuvers

Colonial Super Freak Israel Cross's alter ego ;)

So Cross do you want me to stop holding this doglock for you? That's ok she does fire oh so sweetly i'm thinking about keeping this one

Will the fort allow use of the structure after hours this year as they have in the past? It would keep the noise levels inside the fort contained for shanty sings or other late-night gatherings.

There is at least two additional private campgrounds on Key West for those who want to camp at an affordable alternative to motels:
You'll want to reserve as early as possible to guarantee your spot. (I have stayed there and it's not a bad spot when you split the cost per/person)
-
Congratulations Matty & Mistress Bottles, We're keeping you in our prayers that all are well.
-
You have our full support in all your efforts Fayma! We will bring our full encampment and as always there is the availability of those who need to share our tents, the extra space for those flying in who cannot bring tents. Which means we will have space for at least 8 travelers. This means we'll also have a full kitchen compliment to provide meals for quite a few extra folks as well.
So count us in for the event:
Callenish
Salty
Hamish
PS will be good to see more of the funds in the hands of the fort to help preserve it for future generations of Pyrates!!! HUZZAH! HUZZAH!! HUZZAH!!!

Growing up we made them smaller about the size of Whopper that what was carried for lunches to school or out on the fishing boats, etc. When I have the time I make some that size now and freeze them to warm up later in the toaster oven; they are the right size to just pick up and eat since they come out solid and not runny.
(this is for one batch) that is for one double crust pie you do need to double it for the two pies. Sorry if I didn't make that as clear as I should have.

They were used in that period ...whether any of Drakes men were using them is questionable since they were most often used by land based troops
-
Silkie!!! flimsy excuses every one!!! ....Haul your weevily arse up to Rochester and get to hoeing
-
Quite the dandy Eye! Looks very good
-
Very nice, doesn't look too hard to do ...I'm looking for a few good designs to make some new camp furniture
-
Very nice looking table Mr. O'Keeffe! Would care to share additional detail on the construction of said table; like the leg attachment techniques & the break down status?

The majority of actual shipboard swords were not kept in scabbards because of the corrosion factor of these materials some swords had scabbards but most were officers who kept the blades out of scabbard unless going ashore when they would need to carry their sword ....most common sailors would just slip their cutlasses in their belt if leaving the ship.... there are wrecks that show cutlasses stowed along the rail
-
Congratulations Jeff on your promotion ...I see you're no longer a Sargent but a Leftenant (don't usually see it spelled that way )
-
(I wonder if we are physically related )If you're having physical relations with a dead guy I don't even want to know!!!
