In fact, the weekend was so great, I even had a word with Pyrate Phil clearly spoken from the other coast. Many more faires to come - looking forward to more of me Pyracy mates to attend. 2. why sir, I would never think you to be easy!

truth is, I am selective as well.

Diego, I don't know your song there... will have to wait until Monday to know :huh:

    ok, here's some more lyrics...

It's hard for me to stop my heart

Love never knows when the time is right

I don't want to hurt anybody but

    Can't help loving you

I've never felt like this before

I know this is passion worth waiting for

    Let love take it's course

    that's the only thing

    for us to do....

    Time and Tide - Basia

THAT was a hard one, Fancy!

  3. Thanks Diego! Have a great time at the faire... you too Rummy, you're going to be there with him ain'tcha? y'all are so lucky.

True ~ weFaire together and very lucky indeed! Somebody needs to keep all the wenches in line that make it their mind ta play with Diego!

OK - Diego's song is "She Dreams of Me" but he is going to have to remind me who it is that sings it. I was thinking maybe Indigo Swing or RCR? You guys are getting me mixed up with so many lyrics posted before the results!

    ;)

  5. There was a young wench from crewe,

who remarked, as the pyrate withdrew,

'' The captain was quicker, slicker and thicker,

and three inches longer than you.''

    ooh....mabe a tad risk....eh?

    The captain's name

    must have been the same

As one that I once knew

    We played in the dark

    and oh what a spark

Why, I think that captain was you!

    Oh, wait, I pray no

    I'll never forget

This gent did his part to win me own heart

And indeed is me old mate Diego!

  6. Led Zepplin - Tangerine (Good thing I got to beat Diego to this one - I think he knows each of their songs inside and out!) Check this one out... She was married when we first met

    Soon to be divorced

I helped her out of a jam I guess

But I used a little too much force

We drove that car as far as we could

    Abandoned it out West

  7. That was Paul McCartney and Wings -Diego (you know we share the same birthday!) "Let 'Em In"

... and yours Fancy is from Fleetwood Mac -" Rhiannon"

    "Nobody has mine yet...

He said, "Son, I'm going crazy

    From livin' on the land.

    Got to find my shipmates

    And walk on foreign sands."

  8. *comes in with a sad look upon his face*

what is a man supposed to do when he has lost all hope in love?

Never lose all hope, Lad! Even if this is your darkest day - remember it can only get better! Now, have yerself a tankard full of me grog Black Crowen, and lets get you back on track...

  9. Snow: I still like pinball  there's one at the pizza place we frequent, and I would play more if my boys (including hubby) would let me!

I'm a Pinball Player meself. :P Pays to be Irish - fer I rely on luck for the free games~

  10. Stumped no longer it be the Corrs. And glad tidings o ye all!

There's a bright golden haze on the meadow

    (repeat)

"the corn is as high as an elephant's eye

and it looks like its climbin right up to the sky....

Is that the song from Oklahoma? Oh, what a beautiful mornin? Fine one Diego. I think it's Rogue Mermaid's turn... Tyme to concentrate on her lyrics! I think it's Iron Maiden ;)

  11. East 17 - West End Girls B) You're in the Groove Black John! Gotta loves them Pogues I does!

How about another Irish one... (Diego - this one shouldn't leave you stumped!)

    Opened my eyes today

And I knew there's something different

Saw you in a brand new way

Like the clouds had somehow lifted

    And if yesterday I heard

    Myself saying these words

I would swear it was a lie

I don't know why..., but suddenly I'm falling

(na na na, na na na na na)

    Was I so blind...

I was loving you all the time B)

  12. B) pphil - could it also be that the 't' and 'y' are right next to each other on the keyboard?

rummy - you have to be one of the few that i know of that made it out of the teens without playing (or pretending to play) post ofice? how about spin the bottle. make mine rum.  B)

Guess I missed quite a bit as a teenager indeed. Went to Catholic School then met my boyfriend when I was 15 - ended up with him for over 30 years. B) I'm (so sorry to admit) just now catching up! - As for the question - I guess I am being me~ B)
