It has been brought to me attention that there is some confusion over what time all us Pyracy Pub types should get together and meet-up. Everyone should take a look at the MDRF faire schedule and figure out what time bees the best.
And it seems like there are a few threads out there regarding the same weekend, too...
Still on board with bright green / lime green arm sashes so we can recognize everyone?

Pyrates Weekend Meetup Time~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We all seem to keep forgeting that they changed times on us this year.
I thought that we wanted to set the meetup time to match one of the Pyrate Royale shows, - If so then we should move the time to 12:30
Thoughts anyone ??????????
12:30 it is, then. I was waitin to see what the "official" schedule would be for that weekend just so we didn't get caught unawares again. so, this works! cool.

Just putting it out there as an FYI. These shanty sings seems to be in various places, but in Fells Point the second Wednesday of each month. (and walking distance from work for Madame Macaw and myself!)
Not sure if it is considered a "garb" occasion, will get back on that one, have a few questions out right now...
But, if interested, here ya go. Pyrates Royale sometimes participate in this.

WOW! ya know, I never even thought about it, because I am in the spirit of goodnatured-ness and random acts of kindness to all, but it is good to be reminded that not everyone shares the same sentiments at faire.

The white Hart is the first pub you come to in revel Grove.It has a green and red roof.
Actually O'Shucks is the first Pub you get to when you come thru the gate.
Not trying to nit pick you Crimson - just don't want the visitor lost.
Just grab a program when you come thru the gate, it has a excellent map.
yeah, duncan is right... it is more like the second pub if you keep walking straight. there are great maps on the website and also they hand them out.

maybe the littlest pirate is not so happy about being the tinyest on the ship, and would like to have some responsibilities like the rest of the members of the other crew? to be a part of the team?
and, on some excursion, let the little one save the day (like the only one to fit thru a porthole, or something of that nature...) and be a recognized member of the crew w/ responsibilties.

So, here is the offical word on the encampment, for those interested.
Regarding encampment for Pyrate weekend at the KOA campground near faire - Saturday night:
Some folks will be at MDRF both days, some may just visit the camp, some may stay at the camp and go home the next day. Me thinks personally, I will set up after faireand go to faire w/ supplies and coolers and hot dogs packed
So........ For all interested in the Pyrates weekend encampment, KOA is going to have a group set up under "pyracy pub".
When making your reservation mention the group name to get ajoining campsites. a tent camp site is $34 for the night $3 for each additional child, and $5 for each additional adult. if you want to call and make reservations the number is (410) 923-2771
The base $34 covers two people.
Note: For those with kinder pirates, please be aware that this will be a LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS group, with R-rated conversations and actions, so please use your best discretion.
And a special THANK YOU TO QUEENROGUE for setting this up, and I think many of us owe her several rounds of ale! huzzah!!!!

Looks like I Will be able to make it down there on the 25th. Now, I don't know where the white hart tavern is, but I reckon I'll find it. If all else fails, I'll follow the trail of lipstick festooned rogues (and other things).

Go to the mdrf website, they have a map... it is pretty much at the center of the faire.
Are you goin to try for the encampment, too?

I think the meetin time is at 1:45 at the white hart tavern .Im sure alot of us will be at the gate or on the "grassy nole" right off of the gate in the shady around 9:30,they are opening at 10:00 this year.Blenderwench is good at keep lists.Im sure we are already on it.
I can't wait to meet up and kick back afew with the gang!!!
oh yes, closer to the date I will post a list on this thread of those that have mentioned they will be there, with the sash and meeting time/place.... maybe we should change the meeting time to something that coincides w/ one of the pyrate acts? Not sure if the schedule for pyrate weekend has been posted yet, as the corsairs and the crimson pirates will also be there.....

Well, Stynky, lime green will definately stand out!!!!! if we wore red, blue, black, it would be like almost every other pyrate.... ack!
