Georgia RenFaire has a man selling notical equipment, yes mine can be worn as a neclace. Mine is rapped around me buckle. In me profile picture its just too small. It looks like a white shining circle between me gold hilt and the corner of me black pouch. I like the look, but the nut on the back rips me chest-hair out. When I was 18 someone shoved a main gouch threw me right hand. It hit between bone and muscles and really did not hurt all that much when it happened. An hour later at the hospital, my hand started to curl uncontrolibly and it got extremely painful. The major vain was missed, but the tendens were scared a bit. I'm 32 now and after typing a little bit. My wrist and hand start to make crakling noises. I can still feel the blade as it came to rest. It left a nice scar on the back of my wrist and jsut bellow the thumb. I did take real fencing lessens again years later.

Sadly I be a layman to much of this discussion. I'm trying to learn. So please forgive me ignorance. I believe it IS ment to come apart as the nut on the back is removable allowing the parts to disasimble. However I have not done this as it is largely a decoration on me cross-belt.

First off, wise choice! Does it roughly look like this? Then it's an astronomical astrolabe, extremely useful as an astronomical computer. Yes more like this with lots of cool looking clock-like parts and tiny numbers like dates cover the back. :)
