  1. Mister Red Wake. I wonder of people called Edward Teach "Mister Blackbeard". By the way, I approve of the surgical practice on monkeys. Animal testing before anyone comes near me with a saw.
  2. What navy do you think this is...?
  3. Scarf or no scarf, he'll take the share mandated by the Ship's Articles and like it, just like everyone else.
  4. The Baboon was right...? You were much drunker than I remember.
  5. Nicole Andryko is her real name, but she's known in the intelligence community as Natasha Akilina Solomentsev. There are more than a few people who would gladly see her behind bars at Khabarovsk. She was instrumental in getting some thirty-eight peo...oh wait. This isn't a secure website.
  6. August 5, 1704 Eight bells of the Afternoon Watch approached, with Dorian and William still bound for St. Pierre by carriage. The ride had not improved over time and everyone aboard was weary of the poor road. Back in St. Pierre, another messenger from Durand had arrived at the docks. Unaware that William Brand was ashore, he called for a boat to take him to the Watch Dog, there to give further news of L'Ours investigations. With the rowers paid, the messenger settled into his place at the bow and wiped a tired brow. He had ridden hard to St. Pierre per instruction and was anxious to do good by Durand, a man noted for his generosity when pleased.
  7. Send it to me for a full review.
  8. Aye. A guinness and something more...traditional. I'll have a Sharab Loomi ma Ward.
  9. Bacon...bringing people together since...forever, but today's special is tilapia...
  10. Go classical. Alexander Beach. Out of curiosity, I did a search of the surname in the 16th and 17th centuries and got the following names... Ithamar Thomas Theophilus Nicholus William Lawrence Joseph These were the most common in a short search, especially in the 1600s, but James repeated more than any other. It seems that James was the Mike of the 1600s.
  11. August 5, 1704 - Ward Room of the Lucy "Maurice speaks a little Spanish, sah" Tucker offered, then added. "And Marsh. I don't know who's the better." "Maurice." Nigel and Alder said together, though Nigel was more assured of it. Even Miss Ashcombe nodded, though no one noted her. "Their English an' our Spanish should be enough together." Nigel continued. "Will we make anchor again in the harbor then?"
  12. You're eating cheese when you think, 'This would be so much tastier if I were shackled to a tree'.
  13. Tonight's special is a Cajun seafood pasta. And a walk along the beach.
  14. Does it include a slice of key lime pie for dessert? But of course, for the meal would have to have such in order to be perfect. I have Key Lime pie about four or five times at least whenever I am at PIP. I think that shall be today's special.
  15. I find myself craving the 'perfect meal' from that fine eatery in Key West.
  16. The list is growing rapidly and I may have found another recruit just tonight.
  17. Snow means snowpack, snowpack means run-off and run-off means drinking water. Even on the worst days, I don't mind snow. Now...people who can't drive in the snow...
  18. I was weened on Weatherbox, so I'm somewhat partial to the set. The work is haunting.
  19. Someone who has actually heard Secrets of the Beehive...? Nice. I may have to put on Words With a Shaman next, or perhaps Brilliant Trees.
  20. How do we work out a deal to get some shipped to Fort Zachary Taylor for PIP?
