  1. Thanks everyone!

LOL! <_< @ Captain Scurvy Dog. Yeah, well, that's what makes life interesting huh? lol!

Capt. Grey, I saw Puss in Boots only on Sunday. Not sure if he ran around on any other day.

Well, Morgan, there's always next year. Gets bigger and better each year. :)

Had another caricature portrait made vertically. The first one was horziontal. My guyfriend has a wall in his house that has all our caricature portraits on there. One space left that is vertical. So, on Sunday we had the guy at the Caricature booth make another one by looking at the horizontal one. I actually like this one better than the first one.

  3. I didn't see either of you 2, damn! The only one from the pub I saw was Captain Wolfy Wench. It was at the Pirates screening Friday night.

I have some pix that I got from other friends, mine still aren't ready yet.

It's of the costumes me and my friends did on Saturday.

The Batman and Catwoman are our friends Vickie and Scott. I'm sure you saw them running around. She also did Wonder Woman, which is what she wore more of than the Catwoman.

My guyfriend is Uncle Davver, an orginal character he made for a tv show idea. My friends and I did the sexy ghoul thing with him. Walking around on those boots was killer! Especially stopping so much when people wanted to take our pic.

  4. Now where you be hearing if I be ticklish or not? lol! Sure, I'll give it a go. It's been awhile since I was the one to be lifted. Usually I be the one to help lift someone else. BTW, I brought some chocolate shakes with me. *sets them down on the table* Alrighty....*lays down in the middle of the floor*

  5. It's the light as a feather, stiff as a board thing. Anyone see the movie "The Craft"? Neve Campbell's character says, "you put your 2 fingers here." Fariuza Bulk, "Put your 2 fingers where?" *wiggles them together in a fingering motion* LOL! Anyway, interesting little game. Creepy too. Done it a few times and yes you can levitate the person. Creepy stuff-lol!

  6. Whoa, scary stuff! Here's some stuff that either happened to me, family or friends:

My aunt was stationed in Hawaii during her army days. She had gotten married and had my cousin Josh out there. He was not even a year old when they moved to this one town house near Pearl Harbor. Okay, right there alone is a spooky area. Anyway, weird stuff would happen in the apartment, noises, footsteps, voices and such. It became clear tho that the ghosts did not like her husband. He was a jerk, that's actually being nice. He was horrible to her and my cousin. But things of his would go missing and stuff like that. But one thing in particular was quite creepy. One night my aunt and Todd were laying in bed, tired, but arguing. My cousin had a little music box in his room to help him sleep. They heard the music box stop and Josh started to cry. My aunt, who had been exhausted from a long day asked if he would go wind up the music box again. He started yelling at her. They both started arguing when they both were interupted by loud footsteps coming up the stairs. They both froze, afraid to move. Next sound was the music box playing again and Josh stopped crying. My aunt freaked, fearing something happened to him. Forgetting how afraid she was she ran into his room. He was fine, sound asleep in his crib while the music tinkled away.

I went to Hawaii when I was 13, took a cruise with my grandmother. Only one creepy thing I remember happening. My grandmother wanted to play bridge one night and I was too tired to do anything. Just wanted to stay in my room that night. She decided to leave her key and asked that I let her when she got back. So, I just hung out, reading. It was about an hour or so since she left when I heard a knock at the door. I figured she was back already and opened the door. No one was there. The hall was dark and empty, I did feel cold air tho. I freaked and closed the door. Turned on every light in the room and played my little radio. Not sure what happened, but it freaked me out big time!

  7. Aye, that be good. Typical thing to do at these things eh? :) *gathers the pillows all around on the floor, lights candles and takes a seat back down* So, who wants to go first?

  8. An idea came to mind to make up this post. I'm sure the gents will try and crash this. Steal our bloomers and all that craziness-lol! But anyway, let's have at it ladies! PILLOW FIGHT!!!!! B)

  9. Yeah, I know, there are Jacks everywhere, including female Jacks too. I only know 2 guys who dress as Barbossa. They'll both be at Dragon Con. And the poor guys, unless people know the movie, most people don't know who they are. It's like, "hey it's Jack and.....some pirate guy!" Sad really, people are stupid! More guys need to dress as Barbossa! Oh, yummy!

  10. Nay, that be me who knows Kenny, Elvis Storm Trooper. He knows my guyfriend Wally, it's how I met him like 2 years ago. And then thru Kenny I know Toby, one of the Jacks running around.

    IMG_1257.JPG

That picture of Jack and his lady is Jimmy and his girlfriend Brandi. I only know of him and her thru another friend. :)

Did you see when Kenny did Ghostbuster Elvis? LOL! IMG_1250.JPG

Him, me and Toby were all sitting around coming up with ideas for his Elvis. Other characters he could combine Elvis with, so funny! It'll be interesting to see what he does next-lol!

  11. I took pix of the Jack Sparrow doll at the NECA booth. Also have pix of the HMS Surprise, the one they used for "Master and Commander". Too bad I didn't go when my friend Toby did. He was in his amazing Jack Sparrow costume. He showed me the pix of him at the helm and stuff like that yesterday. It was a blast, so much fun! Now I go back to work today. The vacation has ended.

The only people I saw from here was Captain Wolfy Wench. That was at the showing of Pirates on Friday night. Not many people dressed up, only a few. I went with my Elvis Storm Trooper friend Kenny and Toby *Jack Sparrow*. A lot of Elizabeths dressed up with the Barbossa dress. Made me wish mine had been finished in time. Ah, well, some people still wanted to take my pic in my maroon colored faire garb and cursed coin. The best part for Friday was not just seeing the movie again, but running around downtown San Diego with Kenny and Toby. People were flipping out over Toby's Jack costume. That was great!

Yes, I did see the fireworks that night and also Saturday night too.

I only have a few pix left and then I'll get them developed.

  12. I'm here at my hotel at the Hilton, checking email and stuff before going to bed. Got my guyfriend up in the room, probably wondering what is taking me so long-lol! Anyway, just saying hey and also say that I saw the Jack doll at the NECA booth. Looks awesome! Too bad it was behind glass. They also had pix up of what the Barbossa, Wil and skeleton pirate dolls look like as well. No dolls of them yet tho, damn! Barbossa looks awesome BTW! Yum! ;) Can't wait for that to come out!

Alrighty, today is already Friday. Tonight is Pirates, woo-hoo! See ya on Sunday when I get home. Unless....I feel like checking email again. lol!

  13. We (Port Royal Privateers) were lucky enough to have Louie Lambie grab a couple of really nice big black lanterns that were used on the barge (Black Pearl) set and a few other things that apparently were just being thrown out!

Disney didn't realize what a wonderful movie they had on their hands (until after it raked in the money) and just got rid of stuff. Now I'm sure they'd love to have a lot of stuff back. Oh well....

    Rumba Rue

**Smile and Let Your Spirit Soar**

Aye indeed! Let's not even talk about how cool that cave was they built...and then tore down once filming ended. Geez! They're kicking themselves now!
