  1. Or a trial within a trial. One could be on trial for drunk on duty or infraction of ships articles. Then a pirate could be caught stealing from a pirate or member of the guard observing the trial.
  2. A great, humorous, account of the event for those who could not attend, did attend but did not get to see everything, or like myself, attended but can't remember that much. Nice to see other peoples perspectives through story and pictures.
  3. Happy Birthday ya young whipper snapper.
  4. Just some thoughts I had to promote F.T.P.I. https://picasaweb.go...sterSubmissions#
  5. Local tv coverage of tornado. http://wtvr.com/2012/06/02/witness-tornado-sucked-items-from-hotel/
  6. It took quite a while to photoshop all of the cake out his beard. You can run Michelle, but you can't hide. Maybe that is why shy has been sick. Could it be M. A. d'Dogge Voodoo?
  7. It was a most enjoyable and memorable event. For those who could not attend, or did but don't remember, here is the link to my photos. https://picasaweb.google.com/112277086501011510264/2012PirateInvasionOfTheSantaMaria#
  8. I would like to thank Mark and Jennie, Trish and Shannon, you and Kate, for makining this the best Santa Maria event we have ever done. (Actually it is the only one we have ever done) And thank you again to you and Kate, and James Brown, for brining blamkets to keep us Floridians warm. And boy, were we warm. Was it warm for everyone else too? I will have the photos up very shortly. Yes, I know I am not in this photo. But I have noticed that I have made several cameo apperances in other peoples photos.
  9. Just a few snapsots from John LeViques Pirate Days at John's Pass, Florida. https://picasaweb.google.com/112277086501011510264/2012JohnSLeViquePirateDays#
  10. And I've seen a few hand over their weapons to tourists so they could pose with them too.
  11. For those who might be interested, here is the link to my photos from last weekends Savannah Tall Ships Challenge. https://picasaweb.go...llShipChallenge#
  12. Happy Birthday Lily (and your evil twin too).
  13. I'm sure you will have an enjoyable visit with her. We did while she was in St. Augustine. https://picasaweb.google.com/112277086501011510264/2012MutinyWithTheBoumtySaintAugustineFlorida#
  14. If tha lootin be good, Captain Morgan Private Stock. If I've just a few dubloons, Gosling's Black Seal.
  15. HAPPY BIRTHDAY toooooooooooooooooooo YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
  16. The Midwest wall tent looks like it would fit your needs. Ours is a 10X12 with 40" walls. There is enough room for a full size bed in the rear half with a divider curtain in the middle. We use a fly with the same dimensions, but you could use any size. A small fly would provide cover for your customers while your display/work area could be inside the front half of your tent. Just remember how hot the interior of a tent can get. We use 1X4's for ridge poles, and when we aren't doing our wrecker set up with the masts, we use bamboo for uprights.
  17. The Wreckers will be there. Buxom Anne Marie will be Pyrating. Wants to shoot her new Queen Anne. I'll be firing my canon, capturing souls. After 5:00 I will morph into a pyrate.
  18. For centuries, sailing vessels carried a single white light for identification. The man on watch had to "keep a sharp lookout" for other ships. Colored side lights didn't come about until 1858. Steam vessels accelerated the number of collisions, so a government committee was formed to devise a solution to the problem.
  19. First set of many photos to be posted. https://picasaweb.go...2012SearleSRaid
  20. Reincarnation. Always been one, always will be. Always felt I had been a pirate in my previous life. When Jimmy Buffet came out with "A Pirate Looks at Forty", I felt he wrote it about me. Everything in the song mirrors my life. I even sail a "Pirate Ship", a Kenner Privateer. Been fascinated all of my life with collecting nautical stuff. My camera is a Canon. I "shoot pictures" with it. I chose my name partly because it resembles the only highjacker to never have been caught. I changed the spelling to align with an early occupation, a seller of ill begotten goods. The D.B. stands for Dirty B*st*rd. I don't see it as reenacting, it's more of a continuation of my life.
  21. Trying to narrow down over 1400 pics to post on Picasa. Should have some up in the next day or two. Best event yet. They keep getting bigger and better. Thanks to everybody who made it happen.
  22. If you've forgotten your hair ribbon, we have some for you.
