I just wanted to see if anyone had any information on kilts during the GAoP. Did they wear it when they went to shore? I dont think twould be a great idea on board, but maybe on a night out on the town..and if so would Great Kilts or "wee" kilts be the fashion of the times...I would love to see some proof of this so i could break out a few kilts to some events/ pirate balls

I will be on this for most of the afternoon till the dinner bell rings.....or if I am out having a smoke...now to get Lady Brower in there

.....and they were MADE to be pulled up and over your knee(scrawny or not)...and then fold down...into the bucket....

Just to make sure that everyone understands this, I do have them folded over into the bucket or typical hollywood "pirate boot" fashion, and that's what refuses to stay in place, the bucket itself keeps falling down.

I think what Dogge is trying to say is instead of having the leather fold out like you see in hollywood...they would be folded into the boot itself. This way the "excess" leather acts as an internal support instead of an external weight pulling the boot cuff down. So tuck them in and not fold them out...

This looks like a great event to attend..I know myself and some of the other Half Moon Marauders will be there!! Who else is thinking of going? That way we can keep a weathered eye out for each other :) It would be nice to finally meet some of the Pub members in person and have a few drinks...as i am sure you are all aware of by now...I love to drink a bit but who doesnt lol
