the all purpose ID10t error lol
I envy you not, Michael. I was support for one program (with multiple variations) for about 60 people and that was a job that could really stress you out at times. (Particularly certain of the 60 people, especially when they of that group all had (or, worse, all thought they had) problems at the same time.)"The word 'user' is the word used by the computer professional when they mean idiot." -Dave Barry
At a former company I worked for (where there were about 5 or 6 techs), we re-named the term "user error" to "loser error"... ... I no longer have fellow techs to share that snide thought with (and I think it even though I do like most of my co-workers), but the thought can still bring a smile to my face when things get hectic around the office.

Fourth "Pirates" Films In Hawaii
By Garth Franklin Tuesday January 19th 2010 09:28AM With "Lost" having shut up its Oahu-based sets on the Hawaiian Islands, Disney intends to keep using the locale with today's announcement that "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is set to shoot on Kauai and Oahu this Summer says Pacific Business News.
The Rob Marshall-directed production is expected to generate an estimated $85 million in direct and indirect spending in Hawaii. Other film productions currently using the island state include Clint Eastwood's "Hereafter" which finished filming in Maui last week, and Alexander Payne's "The Descendents" starring George Clooney which is in pre-production.
The fourth installment of the action adventure film series hits theatres May 20th 2011.

Thor, Pirates 4, Let Get New Dates
By Garth Franklin Wednesday January 6th 2010 09:43PM With the troubled "Spider-Man 4" set to depart its original release date of May 5th 2011 for sometime later that season, the film schedule is already shuffling to compensate.
Box-Office Mojo reports that Marvel Studios' "Thor" has moved from its May 20th 2011 date to May 5th to fill the hole left by Spidey.
Shortly after, Disney pushed its "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" sequel up and will now take over the old "Thor" pre-Memorial Day weekend slot on May 20th.

"Nemo" Canned, Marshall Helms "Pirates"
By Garth Franklin Tuesday November 17th 2009 05:12AM "Captain Nemo: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", Disney's latest adaptation of the Jules Verne classic, has been cancelled reports Variety.
The project, which aimed to begin shooting in February, has been indefinitely postponed and director McG has withdrawn from the project.
No cast was ever set despite rumors of Will Smith's involvement, but the change of the studio's chairman from Dick Cook to Rich Ross has de-prioritised this and quite likely several other properties in development as so many Hollywood regime changes do.
For now the studio's priority on water-based films is the fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" which aims to begin shooting in May. "Chicago" and "Memoirs of a Geisha" director Rob Marshall confirmed that he would be directing the film at a recent DGA screening of his upcoming musical "Nine".

Here be a a short one - http://www.youtube.c...u/0/Zigbr_Ie9DA
I've always wanted to redo this one with a whole cast, better sets, etc. The soundtrack is a piece by my youngest brother but he would love to write something specifically for it.
Let me know what you think!
VERY nice, Hurricane! But those CGI clips look kinda familiar.
Well done, Bright!

This is our Krewe's Spring Rendezvous event that we do anyway. This year we just thought we'd make it a little (ok, a lot) bigger so we could invite all of you.
After years of volunteering, attending and advising countless events, we thought it was high time we did our own. Our Shore Leave weekend is all about you being a part of the event, not just an attendee. We would like you to take part in the events as if they were your own. Our scheduled events are all free to attend and your participation is encouraged. As you will see, our events are about the individuals and the roles they play in Shore Leave weekend. We are not looking to make money; we are looking to make heartfelt memories and friendships that will last us all a lifetime

Wind and the lion
First speaker: What do I want? I want respect! Respect for human life and respect for American property! And I'm going to send the Atlantic Squadron to Morocco to get that respect.
Second speaker: That's illegal.
First speaker: Why spoil the beauty of the thing with legality?
One of the best movies ever made . . .

Wow . . . if it's the one I'm thinking of, that is an oldy but a goody!
I think that's "Wizards" right at the climax of the film. Am I right?
