The camp
1748 British sailors ashore in a French town. Just to give an idea of the deliberately motley collection of tents stitched up from sail cloth. Yes, we know that our tent ought to be outside the walls with the rest of the besiegers, but the site organizers thought it would be nice to have the sailors next to the gate down to the wharf.
