   Ahoy, Bay Area pirates! There be a sing-along performance of "Pirates of Penzance", performed/led by the Lamplighters--our very own local and highly acclaimed G&S company. It be scheduled for Saturday, February 28th at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco, and Sunday, February 29th (Leap Year Day) at the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. People can sing whatever part they like. Are you a baritone and always wanted to sing "Poor Wand'ring One"? Now's the time to do it. Folks're also encourage to come in costume. Arrrrr!    In the chat room Sunday night, Robin stated there would be a faire at Estrella Park, Arizona on February 11-16. Said to do a search and it would come up. Well, it didn't. Anyone have information on this. Much appreciated.

   I was sending out the notice of the Royaliste's Valentines Day sail to our pirates, when it occured to me that we should do something special for the single pirates on Valentines day. So I've asked the single pirates to bring a photo of their ex and we'll blast 'em from the cannons!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Can't ye' just feel the piratical love?!!!

   Just passin' on to anyone. The Pirate Brethren of Texas [a gay pirate re-enactment/performance troupe] will be visiting Excalibur Medieval Faire on the second weekend of the faire.
