Hetha Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Too angry from last night's events to get any sleep right now. OOps! That was my outside voice;)! "Big on self-reliance and personal responsibility. Down on culture of victimology. Nobody owes you a thing and life isn't always fair. Spend a little more time being grateful and less time bitching and you just might find a smile replacing that scowl. Being miserable doesn't make you 'deep;' it makes you insufferable."-The Thirsty Celt ~Sail it like you stole it!~ "Silence is Golden; Duct Tape is Silver"
Silkie McDonough Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 up and down all night .....and you claimed you were home alone and sick Strep throat dear ...you try sleeping when in such pain. Gawd, I sleep all night and I'm still tired because I have no energy. You may ask why I have no energy. My answer is simple, I can't eat. It is painful to take ANYTHING past my throat except for Yogi -Throat Comfort tea. I feel a bit better today. I think I may venture to the grocer.

Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite! (When I was a child, I used to think my parents were slightly insane for saying that to me just before turning out the lights! What a way to trigger nightmares!) Cheers, Hester

Hester Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Upset tummy woke me at 4 a.m. Maybe it was the raw onion in the potato salad, or the overly salty BBQ chicken. Or the fact that I didn't actually eat supper until 10 pm. Or the red wine that the neighbours plied me with beforehand on an empty stomach. Or maybe it's still the remnants of that 'flu bug.

William Brand Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 You're living on borrowed daylight, Miss Ashcombe. When you die I'll see that you are buried sometime between 3 and 4 in the morning and all of the mourners shall wear pajamas.
