Boy do those crappy old plastic masks and thin plastic costumes bring back memories. I can recall fishing through boxes and boxes of the things in the bin at the front of Le Mart du K around Halloween time.

I've posted this before, but here is part of the genesis of ol' Mission's fascination with skeletons:

Lovely Pic. And yes costumes have come a long way, can you imagine what they will look like years from now? Our kids will think they had cheesy costumes. And I can remember digging through bins to find just the right one as well..And then opening the boxes and you would think it was the greatest costume ever.

When I was a kid, I didn't like the boxed costumes... BUT would go totaly nuts over the rubber mask.... It's kinda like that part in Ramona the Pest when she got the 'scarry" rubber witches mask.... Well it reminds me how I felt as a kid around Halloween....
