callenish gunner Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 the last seven days of hearing a heart monitor beep gives a man too much time to think about what's important

Silkie McDonough Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Salty girl, If time has been too long who is to blame? Why then, while in the hospital for almost a week, each time I called my friend and inquired after her, had his "love" not called to learn his progress or wish him well? Would not a call to his home to learn how he had fared, or even a message on his voice mail wishing him speedy recovery, have been in order?
Salty Posted January 16, 2007 Author Posted January 16, 2007 that blame falls where it should on my shoulders Mud Slinging Pyromanic , Errrrrr Ship's Potter at ye service Vagabond's Rogue Potter Wench First Mate of the Fairge Iolaire Me weapons o choice be lots o mud, sharp pointy sticks, an string

LadyBarbossa Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Let's just say I feel so alive, and looking towards the future. I would never have known what love is without him. Always hear it, always see other people.... always hear about others supposedly in love or are in love... But to actually know it, feel it, understand it and look forward to seeing his face, to hear his voice, the sweet sensation of warm, loving kisses, his arms, and to feel such comfort and be comfortable... to place his needs and wants as a priority... I would never have known that without him. God bless him for it. ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" "I'm completely innocent of whatever crime I've committed." LadyBarbossa Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Ya know... amazing what can happen within 2 months. I can ramble on and on... but I won't. Let's just say I'm hurting... deeply. I guarded myself VERY, VERY well over the years and now... I've been played a fool and whore! Aye, passion is around... but I don't look for lust nor passion. I prayed for Love. Thought I had it and was totally wrong. ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" "I'm completely innocent of whatever crime I've committed." The one, the only,... the infamous!
Jacky Tar Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Lady B. ye hav me sympathies, I pray ye find love that is love. Jacky Tar
Mary Diamond Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 So sorry, Lady B ~ But, in truth, these disappointments make the real thing all the sweeter and more cherished when you find it. You will find true love ~ stay strong! Oooh, shiny!
LadyBarbossa Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Thank ye both. Tis hard to explain but I doubt I need to explain... he was, after all, th' one I had been prayin' for for years. Time 'll tell if it was mean t' be. Horoscopes all said yes, but... I don't follow Horoscopes... I may my own path. ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" Red-Handed Jill Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Horoscope writers have 365 tries a year to get it right - sometimes they get lucky and are actually accurate. I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out. Some folks are just good at fooling others; that's their talent and you should never blame yourself for being fooled by them. And life is funny; it's when you least expect it that something really good happens.
