Rumba Rue
It's one thing to wish what you're ideal partner's qualities should be, but what about the reality? One of the great things about doing Ren-fairs/pirate events is that the larger person is readily accepted. That's something personally I appreciate, even though I've lost a whole lot of weight. I'll never be thin, but not overly huge either. I love a man with some meat on his bones, but not overly obese as I find skinny just nothing there to hold onto. So I'm really interested in what each of you really like size wise in the opposite sex.
DocF225
Truth be told ,I like my ladies with substance. Anorexic model types do nothing for me. A nice set of curves in the right places and I like me ladies on the short side. Not sure why... Doc Wiseman - Ship's Physician, Stur.. er... Surgeon Extrodinaire and general scoundrel. Red Cat Jenny
I like someone I am not bigger than, which is fairly easy because I'm small 5' 3". I have dated guys 5'11", 6'2", 6' 4" ..you begin to appreciate steps LOL. I danced with a guy once I liked for a while from a distance, but he was so slight in build, when we embraced It felt strange. Needless to say the attraction ended there. *sigh* I don't mind a bit o meat on a man, not too much..but solid is nice. Muscular, but no giant muscles tho. Or at least sort of muscular...but there we go with the manly thing again.... Some people tend to get "comfortable" after a while in the relationship if you love them it doesn't matter as much I supose.. Oi! Sorry to be so vague Do remember, trite as it may sound...it's what's inside.. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Patrick Hand
OH..... I'm going to get in soooooo much trouble fer this.......... But ye asked....... I like tall thin women with very small breast...... my Mommy has huge tits( I sholda sayed breast).......but my Mommy has some huge ones..... back pain and I see large breast as painfull....... SO for the question..... I prefere tall thin ladys with small breast.... That said..... I will get into trouble fer saying it...... OH YAH....... and she can think.......... Edit:..... wot is a nice way to say that I like (prefer) smaller berast...) I have had girlfriend with big... to huge..... and they were nice ladys........for the female types... you had no choice of the size of them.... and how would that change your personality of them..... If I could "Frankenstein" a woman.......make her body exactly wot I wanted........ Smart brain.... smallish breast.... Nice mellow hips.... Hey... CrazyCholeBlack
This question just sounds *bad*. I like guys that are tall, 6ft or more. I like a guy that is tall enough that if I stand behind him I can't see over his shoulder. I prefer normal-athletic guys. I'm prety well build & lift so I do prefer a guy who, well, it would be nice to be with a guy who has bigger bicepts than mine. Mr. Hand I think it's perfectly ok to say "small breasts". Course I don't fall in that catagory so maybe I'm not one to choose. "If part of the goods be plundered by a pirate the proprietor or shipmaster is not entitled to any contribution." Ransom
SO for the question..... I prefere tall thin ladys with small breast.... I give Patrick a big grin, and raise my hand. Patrick Hand
I don't know about the mellow hip thing. Not exactly sure what ya mean by mellow. I had a lady friend (girl friend sounds sooo ... High school...) But when we would lay in bed... running my hands across her hips..... the outline from her ribs to her hips and to the top of her legs........mellow..... OK... I like that line (even if it is in braile) of a womans hips...... There is something sooooo Feminine about that..... Not sure if I explained it well..... but dang.... it is sooooo sexy....... Fox
I suppose when I'm "looking" I tend to look at women with a bit of a curve and something to get hold of - not "fat" you understand, or even "cuddly", but women with a natural amount of meat on their bones and a proper feminine shape. But when it comes to actual relationships I'm a lot less fussed about size or looks or anything like that than I am about personality (yeah yeah, a bloke who's into personality, pull the other one Foxe!). My last three serious partners were of wildly varying sizes: My ex-wife was tallish (for a woman), about 5'7" IIRC with largish boobies and graceful curves. After her my next g/f was 5'11" (I'm slightly under 6'2"), and got all excited one Christmas because she'd managed to eat enough to get herself up to 9 stone. Funny thing was she could eat and eat and eat, but really never put weight on, and she really wanted to! My last serious g/f was considerably shorter, about 5'4, and I guess a sort of "average" build (though she was scarily thin when I first met her - I introduced her to fried breakfasts ). Silkie McDonough
What I like to look at? A nice athletic body is pure enjoyment. Hmmm, so can a burly 'lumber-jack' type. Orrrrr...nice gams! mmmmmm! I do enjoy a lad who can pull off a kilt without a second thought. Dancers! Muscles everywhere! I don't like men who are hirsute. (I find this word ironic ...I pronounce it hair suit! lol) I don't like bad teeth. They can be crooked but they need to be clean. I want to be able to stand next to you and breath! I have A penchant for blue eyes. Someone who doesn't smell and taste like smoke. A man who wears his cologne lightly and doesn't care about the name on the bottle, just what we both like. Thick, straight hair. Brunette or auburn. Maybe some facial hair. A goatee I think. Okay now reality. I am attracted to the person not the form. I have dated all shapes and sizes from shorter and thinner than me to much taller and fat. I have dated two smokers in my life. The first was just out of high school. The other hid that fact from me for several months. Eventually I found him out and finally the romance ended. We are still friends (I like his new wife also). I don't know if his smoking had anything to do with the end of the romance or not. Most of my relationships have been with blue eyed men. Be they, shorter than me, taller than me, fat, thin, bald, hairy, etc. I can think of only two relationships that lasted more than one or two dates that did not have blue eyes. It has never been a conscious decision. I must be able to be a friend to the man. I am still friends with many of my "ex's" I liked them before the romance why wouldn't I like them after? My men have been bald men, silver haired, extremely short curly hair, crew cuts, Long knotted hair, thin scraggly pony tails. It isn't important. I don't think I could date a man with a bad comb over and let him get away with it. Young and old. My current guy is 4 years younger than me. I have gone out with men 15 years younger and at least that many older. I don't like to be judged so I do my best not to judge ...so far I have not been disappointed. Rogue Mermaid
My main pyshical qualifications are that the guy is taller than me ( I am also in the 5'3" club), and doesn't weigh less than me. I love a guy that makes me laugh! My boyfriend makes me laugh all the time. Having an infectious smile helps too A nother big issue is that he doesn't make me feel stupid for being me. It's hard to find a guy who is ok with me dressing up like a pirate and playing D&D.
Ransom
Like Silky, I've dated men of various heights and ages. My first husband was two years older than me, 5'9", and slight of build - he was a marathon runner. After we split up, I dated a guy 14 years youger than me, who was 6' and slender - met him in the SCA. We dated for four years. The man I'm married to now - just had our 16th wedding anniversary - is ten years younger than me, is 6'2" and weighs around 185 - very fit. I've dated guys who were pretty hot looking, only to find out they thought so too. So, while it's true the "package" might be what attracts your attention, it's what's inside the package that counts. (Oi, and by "package" I mean the outside image, not that other "package" men refer to ) ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... Bonnie Red Weasel
Weasels like 'em big. i like a man who can throw me around a bit. Although i've dated men who are slight of stature, i find myself more physically attracted to those who are nice and big, tall and around. Honestly, there's not really such a thing as overweight to me, so long as he can keep up with me (read that however you'd like).
Christine
I've always liked them tall with a medium build. The thing is, my guyfriend has that build and sometimes I feel like he's going to crush me when he's on top..... I'm of the petite body frame and short. Has anyone else had this happen to them? A guy a lot bigger and taller than you, sometimes sex can become dangerous when you're on the bottom.

"Broadside" Long
I like "plus" size women I guess you could say although I prefer the term voluptuous. I'm kinda a big guy, 5'10" and 200 lbs, and I've been with Twiggy-size girls and I always feel like I'm going to break them in half. (Sorry 'bout the dislocated hip, babe!). But I like exaggerated curves on a woman. Larger chest and hips kinda like an ancient fertility goddess. Also, a brain is a definite must.
