(Sometimes I wish I could be idealistic, young and stupid like I was in college. Although I'll admit we never came up with anything like that.) From my college days (This is a pic in Old Main at Wayne State University. A bunch of engineering students and myself used to hang out in a disused stage on the top floor of the building, drink Jack Daniels (which is awful stuff to drink straight) and talk about life, the universe and everything. One day we found a chest of costumes...) Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" It's an easy book to get distracted from. Sometimes I think the author got distracted and decided to wander off on some tangent or another for the heck of it. (You can get it extremely cheaply on Amazon used. I love Amazon used.) We really must meet some day. Then we can drink heartily (preferably single malt scotch... almost anything but JD straight) and finally have that discussion on religion that you appear to be itching to engage in. (No, not here. Although you can't see him, Stynky is standing right behind me. If you look real close, you might see his nose. Ah, it sort of appears that the thief is worried about others stealing his stuff, then! (Next time you have it, you should run away from him and ship it home UPS. I know where the UPS stores are in Key West.) One of many gypsy pics I have found on my "internet wanders" I have at least 3 sets of tarot cards but only one is really "mine" is a old traditional one that use to be my fathers...
