Longarm
After viewing the trailer I wish I hadn't heard of this movie. I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning. To me it smells like....PIRACY!
Patrick Hand
It looks better than the last Pyrate movie that I rented from the doller (cheap) section (I'll watch almost anything about Pyrates if it's only cost a buck)........ I don't think I will rush out to see this one (it looks a little too cutsy(They have to save their Father and learn important lessons along the way...that kinda thing))........ I'd rent it for a buck.... but unless someone post a good review of the movie... I don't think I will be ordering the DVD.......
hurricane
What a piece of crapola. Looks like the same fly by night production company that is doing auditions at PiP for a new pirate movie.... Their work is soooo amateur. Hardly holds a candle Jolly Roger: Massacre at Cutter's Cove. Now there's a classic! :) -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. Blackdog
i cannot for the life o riley figure out how to get the movie or tbe novel on which it is based sound like very good readin as well as viewin for a up and comming pyrate like meself I liked Band of Pirates, it's classical with a twist...what I mean is -- it's no big budget hollywood film, but hey, it still has all the fun and adventure of other pirate favorites and the production value is good for low budget indie fair. There's no special effects, but there are some fun characters and amazing scenery. there's two versions, a family version and a mature version - which are nearly the same except the mature version has some tastful nudity in it. I watched the family version with some friends and their kids - the kids loved it - loved Capt. Black and the Guthries, it's treasure island with a twist...there's no gore or horror - it's straight up pirates chasing treasure fun...and worthy of being added to my pirate movie collection. Band of Pirates is available at Amazon.com and other places online.
