Silkie McDonough Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I ben tol I nee't supply dis. Murin (MEER-een) “Silkie” McDonough, Age 34 Owner of "The Sealkie" Public Ordinary and Inn. No words on the sign, a brightly painted celtic zoormorphic of a seal (see my signature). Irish/Scott - 5’5”, Attractive, buxom solid muscular build of a working woman. Hazel eyes that tend towards green constantly change with the weather and surroundings. Medium reddish/brown curls usually frame her freckled and tanned face in tangles even when tied back. The years shown in her eyes and the light wrinkles around them but her body language and personality seemed that of a woman of fewer years. Wispy tendrils of hair constantly float around her head creating a coppery halo. When her hair is not tied back it reaches easily to her waist, longer if brushed straight. Born to the Irish Sea, on the North East Coast of Ireland, in the village of Ballycastle. By age 17 Murin was in Barbados as punishment for crimes she did not commit. She slaved at a sugar plantation for almost three years, escaped, stowaway on a ship that wrecked made it to a dessert Island, was found by the Watch Dog and brought aboard. She spent the next many years living the life of a privateer. Was given what is now named "The Sealkie" as a gift by a grateful merchant. "Retirement" as was life, is never dull for the lass. (For greater detail see bio in Tomb of the Watch Dog)
Capt. Sterling Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Like how you have "tied" the two threads together... and remained consistent with your character...well done! "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/
Silkie McDonough Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 It was either that or remember another log on I don't know how some people do it! Actually I had this in mind when PR first started but I was just learning the ropes on the Dog and there were sooooo many people in PR (still are) and I couldn't follow. Hope I can catch up! So, this is a bit late ...can PR use ANOTHER inn/restaurant/pub? Should I have chosen a different business? Besides, who says this is Murin. Could be her Mum. Hmm, may have to change my bio. lol
Capt. Sterling Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 one can never have enough pubs/taverns/inns/ ever! Just think between Spindlethrope, you and Mr. Neede, you could have a right competition going on amongst yerselves... a whole other storyline with in the the story.... If I ever actually manage to get out of prison, out of sick bed and back out onto the ocean it would be a blast having the 'Angel meet up with Dog... will have to run that by yer other crew in the future... Wait ...wouldn't that put a tear in the space time continuum and cause all matter of havoc in the universe?
Capt. Sterling Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 ROTDLOL!!!!!!!!! Silkie McDonough Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Funny you should say that ...a the idea of the Dog sailing into Port Royal has been discussed ...I don't know how serious we were but we did discuss it.
Capt. Sterling Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hmmm, **rubbing hands together** and thinking of all the trouble we could get into...even before PiP... Ransom Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 I PMed Dorian ages (6-8 months) ago about that possiblity, since I saw him "lurking" around PR so often. He said it might be interesting, but then he never brought it up again. I think Silkie is right, it migh cause a rip in the fabric of time. But it would be fun! ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. Cheeky Actress Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hmm...now this would be VERY interesting. I wonder who would cross the line first. Knowing our Captain, it just might be him! Member of "The Forsaken"

Capt. Sterling Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Will he have to roll the Archangel upside down for it to work? My WORD! Absolutely not! Silkie McDonough Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Hamish O'Malley: 12 yo. Blond hair blue eyes. Came into Silike's employ with the ownership of the pub. He lives and works at the "Sealkies" and likes the freedom he is allowed. He does his job well and he is allowed his freedom to roam as he wishes. Silkie has taken a liking to the lad of Irish origin and unknown parentage. Nora Phillips: 19 yo. Sandy hair brown eyes willowy lass, attractive but not beautiful. Remington Bedgoode Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Name: Remington Bedgoode aka: Remmie (father and mother pet name for me) Birthplace: Canterbury, Kent/England Age: Youthful, but old enough to know better! I am accustom to frequenting coffee shoppes and brothels of Covenant Gardens. I do fancy a good play such as “Love for Love” – yet, with all this, my life is empty and unmeaningful. Adventure is what I seek! A dare was presented to me and therefore I took it with pleasure. I am to travel to Port Royal and obtain various goods for my family's business - yet, while there, I cannot help think that this journey will open new experiences for me! Above all, I seek out a woman who my Uncle has requested information from. This journey shall be a most exciting one!
