Rogue Mermaid
There is a little lightning fast bit at the very end of the movie after the credits. It's not terribly important to the story if you don't want to wait it out, but it's good for a chuckle.
Cut-throat
Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to see it tonight. I'll definately wait for the end.
Rumba Rue
Correction, that was Rogue Mermaid who said to wait till the end of the credits. Sorry I can't take credit for something I didn't say.
Rogue Mermaid
Thanks Rumba, I didn't take any offense though Really I should give credit to the teenager in front of me in the theater. I looked around at my group of friends during the credits and said, "Do you think there is anything hidden at the end?". Luckly, this guy told us to hang around! Christine
I always sit thru the credits of just about every movie I see. You just never know what might be thrown in at the end. :)
Christine
I read somewhere what is at the end of the credits, it's kind of lame-lol!
Atala Syrcuse
Fer me money I don't leave till the lights comes on and they trows me out! Was glad I stayed this time though! Drink Up Me Harties Yo Ho!
Janette Morgan
Well, I kin't say as I get throwed out real often, though I do have a habit of waiting for the lights. Guess I'll be hanging around for sure, if I manage to scrape together enough plunder to go.
Atala Syrcuse
I have to wonder though... will the dog play in the 3rd movie like Jack the Monkey played in the 2nd? Drink Up Me Harties Yo Ho!
Maggie Pricklebottom
These are called "Easter Eggs." The one in the first movie played prominently at the end of the second...Barbossa, apple, Jack the monkey with coin. This one in PoTC2 was very short, but I am assuming it also will tie into the next installment.
John_Young
I wouldn't call it an Easter Egg. At the theater I was working as a pirate, I would tell people before the movie there was something at the end... then as they started to come out I would tell them... and then usually they would chew me out for making them watch something so stupid. "Yo Ho, all together hoist the colours high Heave Ho, theives and beggers Never shall we die..." "I don't care who ye say you are lad, if ye say 'savvy' one more time, I'll bury this cutlass in that thick skull of yers!" -Captain John Young - PILF
JoshuaRed
Yeah this one was a waste of 10 minutes waiting for the credits to end.
Silkie McDonough
So, I saw the title of this thread and didn't read the thread because I didn't want to spoil it for myself. I waited ....and waited ...for an eternity to see that little bit at the end. and then ...soooooo disappointing. That is something that I assumed was going to happen without the visuals. Lessons learned.
BuxomAnnieScarlet
I know... I recently learned I missed a little something at the end, and now I'm really kicking myself... Oh well - guess I'll just have to see it again! My real name is April - *shhh*! =B buxomanniescarlet@pyracy.com
