""How many buckets of dirt does it take to get to Oderlesseyes Cove

from yours?""

Just the odd workings of my mind, the above sentence set the gears turning.....

Put the dirt in a Jar! An Old gallon pickle jars would work best :D Then put it on the

shelf with the other odd 'pirate' items, and you can sing "I've got a jar of dirt, I've got a

Jar of dirt!" You could sell the jars of dirt on E-bay :D or if you use some real dry dusty

dirt, you could put a inflatable bladder in and just under the dirt and connect it to a intermittant

air supply so that it would appear as if Davy Jone's heart was beating just under the dirt :D

Some day I hope to have half the pirate cove you guys have been working on, This is one thread

that I really look forward to continue.

I have to say- I've read this whole thread, and just am amazed at the transformation your pirate cove has taken!

You've done an amazing job, mate! Makes me wish I hadroom to make a little pirate lair..though I guess my bedroom could suffice, since it is presently taken up with garb, and wigs and hats and swords and mugs and makeup- scar and otherwise and well...

Arrrr! You've done yerself proud!

And I know this project will just never end, but keep getting better and better!

BTW- at one point you were looking for speakers for a bit of music? You know you can get speakers that look like rocks? Would be especially good in or around the waterfall, I be thinkin'. If ya haven't already..

The shanties would sound like they're coming in o'er the waves...

A BIG New Piratey Treasure chest has found residence in me cove..

An Early Christmas present it be... It presents a new project to make a false bottom and

build it up with foam and carve it so that trinkets and gold coins ect can be glued to it..

The foam core I make will have a base color of Gold as well..I think I will add a skull with a sword thru it..

One constraint to making this is the prop has to be made in such a way that I can flip it upside down for transport. The reason is so the Mound of treasure can be of a greater amount when on display... We will have a grand Guild yard with this and Willie the dread Pirate ( Statue ) and the Barrels.. Speaking of Guild yards ..The Rum Runners is the best! Sounds Like a subject for another thread.... Any way here be a few pics of me new treasure Box..

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!

Wow, Eyes, that's a great score! You keep this up, you're going to have to build on an addition to your pirate cove!

...schooners, islands, and maroons

and buccaneers and buried gold...

These are wot eye am finally setting me heart on and I don't have to drive to Texas to get them.....

My wife say WOT! with a furrowed eye brow when I ask to use here truck for a pick up In Texas..So I decided to look else whare and found a far better deal...Yarrr... Well the deal is in the works any way..so I can't coun't me chickens yet..

The Table comes with the Booty.

As for the chest..i be using it fer a static display in the cove and will

be taking it on the road with me to different pirate events locally..

so Eye really don't need to turn it into a Permanent ice box....

But a temporary one at events is a good idea... Lots of booty can be hid in it..

Thanx for the interest Patrick..Respects to ye ...

This just keeps getting better and better... success with getting the table and chairs!

I am still angling to get me some of them whiskey barrel chairs but meanwhile

eye found an item to age me rum in and will have a home in the cove.

Ye can find these barrels and have them personalized from

1000 oaks barrel co. Eventually I do plan on custom building my own Tiki bar as well.

Eyes, you truly have a wondrous ability to find treasures for your awesome cove. At some time in the future, I will look forward to sampling the Spirits of Oderlesseye. :P Maybe I'll be lucky enough to be lounging in one of your barrel chairs while I sample the rum? 'Twould be fun.

I have a back porch/sunroom in need of renovation and I am going to do it in the fashion of a greatcabin, and (yes, I know, talk is cheap) but I am going to post pics of the progress and final results.
