Mad Matt Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 I saw somewhere (I think it was Fox News Channel) that this guy had to shut it down because of an accident near his house. The homeowner is an electical engineer who spent around $10,000 on the lights. He had told his neighbors and the sheriff ahead of time that if the lights caused problems for the neighborhood, he would quit the display. He has a small transmitter that beams the music to radios in the vicinity so the onlookers can enjoy the music and light combination. P.S. That sight is the first time in a loooooooong time I've heard/seen the word "rad". You will be flogged. And God willing, come morning, you will be flogged some more. I think we've all encountered situations where mis-interpretation of forum messages, emails et. al. has led to catastrophic results. I know I've been guilty of putting my own inflection on other folk's statements, taking it wrong and getting all hissy about it, sometimes even with close IRL buddies. Emailed the link to a friend of mine, he said he'd gotten it from several different people (he's a lighting designer) and it's on at least 4 different servers. He runs it off a computer generated program and can change the sequences with different music.
