BriarRose Kildare
Right now I am cleaning my double cassette/cd player. It is a good thing I have petite hands to clean the inside of the cassette players. Ransom
I'm off to bring in wood so I can start the fire in the woodburning stove before the house gets too cold. Fun. NOT. But it does feel sooooo good when it's going. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... Lily Alexander
Let us know Lily what she does in the snow. Wish I could see it. Crazy dog, started pushing the snow with her nose then preceded to roll in it. If you can imagine a turtle on it's back wiggling all it's limbs in a futile attempt to get up that's my Sophie. Of course she does the really cute stuff when I don't bring the camera with me. Oh well, I'm sure there will be other chances. max_bodycount
Sitting at work cutting out paper ships for Fire As She Bears, a Napoleonic naval wargame. I am not quite ready to rick my delicate metal ships in the meathooks of newbies. Drew some 3-masters under easy sail in Paint, inserted them into a MS Word DOC to make tent-style miniatures, and cut octagonal bases out of foamcore. Red-Handed Jill
I'm dyeing the bedroom curtains. There are several, since they cover two of our walls. Five years ago they were kind of a gold colour but I dyed them claret. They've faded some so I'm re-dyeing them. 20 cups of salt 1-1/2 cup of fiber reactive dye 2-1/2 cups of soda ash 1 really big dropcloth Fun fun fun! Captain Midnight
Just finished getting a military-short haircut in preparation for my pending trip to Iraq. Before that, I repaired a wooden seagull perched atop a post which sits on the front porch of my shop. He had previously fallen over and his leg broke off the post. I had to drill it out and make him a new leg. He's as good as new now. "Now then, me bullies!
